These PG's for Lithuania are horrible. Val is rolling everytime after he sets the pick - like throw him the ball

I hope Jonas can develop a strong post game, where the Raptors can pound the rock down low and JV can score points instantly in the paint.

Just the way JV grabs boards alone is getting me excited. He's come out of the gates well today, only if they fed him more.

Of what I've seen from him in video clips and watching FIBA play/ITNL play, I rarely see him with his back to the basket. This is coming from someone that mainly watched highlight videos and international competitions. I'm sure others can give their input on his post game.

Nice 1st quarter for JV. That stuff was brutal but he has two of his own also. He's rebounding very well.

Jonas looked way better in that Q than against ARG. More focused movement, more solid play overall. Still played young, but good young- went over the wrong shoulder a couple times and his foul looked cheap but encouraging stuff despite the nasty rejection. He'll have to put that guy in the basket next time.

Lithunia is probably worst pnr team of any tournament for the last 3 years easily. Both at off and def that is.

Yeah, few lucky shots. If not for those, the lead would be like 5 points lol.

I would love for the Raptors to execute that last play Lithuania drew. JV set a screen for the point guard, and the wing from the right corner cut to the basket getting a nice alley-oop. I can see that play working well with Lowry to Derozan :D
