You know it is time to end the discussion when it breaks down to a grammar argument.

Sorry, ""Use" proper grammar." is not a complete sentence either.
Yes, it is.

Besides, I don't consider myself smart. At least I know enough not to call a successful venture capitalist dumb.

Yeah. It was pretty dumb of me. Puts me right up there with this group of people.

How did you know? I think about GSW all the time! Their culture of winning is so exemplary. Oh and speaking of having another team on your mind, why is it again that you are in the Jazz forum?
Maybe the Warriors topics, like this one, that you post on here? I mean, as you said, it's a Jazz forum right?

You could be right! Now that Kirilenko is off the board, maybe Dwight will change his mind and take the $2.4 million which GSW offered to Andre. Quick. Have Joe call a press conference. Since there is a one in a billion chance, Joe better have his wet dreams be made known to the public.
Wow, so the rumored interest being reported by *gasp* sportwriters (no quotes btw) is Lacob letting his "wet dreams known to the public"? Because reports of teams being interested in players never happen outside Golden State lol.
Like I said your butthurt obsession with GSW is entertaining. Looking forward to your continued GS posts in a Utah forum.

You sound like a sophisticated and experienced person

Your position is that my two statements below were invalid:
1. GSW looked foolish when they offered (through the media) $2,4 million/year to Kirilenko, when he was seeking $10 million/year, and
2. GSW looked foolish when they threw their hat in the Dwight Howard sweepstakes, without first evaluating their probable chances for success. Dwight Howard politely laughed when he was presented with GSW's interest, and said "No!".
And the reason that my statements are invalid are:'
1. I am "butthurt" because of GSW's great tank of 2012, which postponed the Jazz's lottery pick from GSW by one year.
Impressive and compelling!

When did the Warriors "offer 2.4 mil through the media" for Kirlenko? All I read was they were pursuing him. And how was Kirlenko seeking $10 mil a year when he was reportedly talking to teams like Brooklyn, which only had the min. to offer? No one thought he was going to get that much? Credit to his people for doing so
As for Howard, there were more than a couple teams looking to make a move for him without his consent. There were no illusions about it. The philosophy was he'd stay or he'd go and leave ample cap room for a rebuild.
That would be why your statements are invalid.
The butthurt comment would be towards your uncontrollable desire to talk about GS as much or more than you do the Jazz. Has to be a reason for that right? Wonder what it is?

Yeah. I am starting to even annoy myself. It's just really hard to resist when the GSW boys just keep lobbing me these softballs. But I'll let them have the last word on this one.
