After Nate Robinson signing, Bulls are either done or might add Tracy McGrady.

I'm not comfortable with having only Noah, Taj and Nazr, as our only bigs. Our biggest position of strength the last two seasons is now very average.

Oh yeah, forgot about him. I was specifically pointing to the center spot though. I wish we could sign another big man as opposed to another swing player.
Why so serious?

Can someone direct me to the thread talking about the new terms to Hinrich's deal? Did we use the MLE instead of mMLE?

I know we had to have used the MLE because of the contract Bellinelli got. I don't think you can use the mMLE and BAE both in the same offseason or something. I can't remember the specific thread though.

Nate Robinson
“There were a lot of other teams, but you really can’t pass on an opportunity like this to play for the Bulls, who are like America’s team,” said Robinson. “Chicago is a great city. And now, Derrick Rose and the guys here have played great basketball the last couple years. I’m happy to be a part of it.”

On Thibs
“He’s a great guy, a drill sergeant who is very serious and always prepared,” said Robinson of Thibodeau. “That’s something that I love about him. He’ll push us to be the best players we can be for the sake of the team.”

On Derrick
“This is still his team and I know that,” said Robinson of Rose. “I’m just trying to come in and take some of the weight off his shoulders. Hopefully, I can lead by example, bring energy for the team and contribute in the best way possible.”

vet min guys or guy might think you can't pass on the opportunity to play for the Bulls...which is a demonstrably false statement. If only. He certainly can walk into a room and and start yammering

He's a pretty thoughtful/introspective guy when he's not all hopped up. I've been surprised in a few interviews I've seen with him.

I know some have said it before, but we now have a little bit of crazy or agro that this team has lacked previously.

Im shocked we signed him tbh. Whilst he may have been available, i didnt know if he was a 'Bulls' kind of guy. He doesnt seem to be a GarPax type guy.

I like it though.

Maybe he's a Gar guy. Jerry and Pax tossed him a bone.

A day later and I love this signing even more. I think Nate is going to have a very good year for us. I just like what he brings.

Nobody wants to play in Chicago, or for our FO, or for Rein$dorf. Likely some typos!

Physically, Nate is a freak. He's got a football player's body and he's absolutely fearless (tackling Malik Rose in the clubhouse for example - doesn't speak well for his personality, but Nate doesn't back down. As the saying goes, it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. His defense isn't as bad as his size indicates either. Sure there's mismatches, but Nate tries on D. He blocked Yao once, and unlike other undersized players, Nate's not afraid to Dunk in a game. Earl (granted, Earl was smaller), but Earl would only dunk in practice.

the downside to Nate is that he's more of a SG, than a PG, and that means, you either play without a true PG or you probably have a defensive mismatch, but Nate's speed/strength combo tends to create mismatches in his favor too.

anyway, I hope he works out for you. I like Nate & I was sorry to see how the Celtics treated him.
Go Knicks!! Go Mets!!

As for the Jets . . . just keep it entertaining.
