Yeah, it's a good idea, but it needs to be much smaller and off in the corner of the comment box somewhere.

Too big, ugly font, strange colour, and even stranger placement.

Make it less fancy, get rid of the italics, and put it up top with the quote button so it doesn't look like part of a post.

Also, add a like counter under users' avatar or on their profile as some kind of rep.

Is there a version that live updates? Clicking the button and loading the thread all over again is no more efficient than just replying "+1". At the moment with it re-loading to the first page it's actually quicker to just type +1

I think there needs to be a way to cancel your click. Like the unlike button. Cus I clicked on it before I knew what it was but I actually didn't want to like that post.

I'm sure the kinks will be worked out (hopefully, or get rid of this feature) but yea it's horrible that it reloads to the first page of the thread. It should not have to load at all.

The +1 image is awkward, stands out way too much and is at a weird place.

I can +1 my own posts.. needs to be disabled.


I like this kind of system in general. If possible, let people see how many +1s you have and possibly be able to search your own.

Same. That in itself is a major annoyance and makes it a bad idea... otherwise, it's not a bad feature to have.

I agree with this, but this feature just started today right, or at least I just noticed today. So of course it's not gonna be perfect. Just some suggestions being made. Also agree on it being moved to the upper right corner next to the quote button.

I love the idea though. Something different.
