Maybe this can lead to like a Reputation rating? Get enough +1's and you're rep goes up if there is a -1 then rep goes down....the rating can show on the left side with the rest of the info there(board name,# of posts etc) easier way for people to see if you're a quality poster or not....

I don't like it. The +1 looks out of place.

The idea is good, but poorly executed. You can put likes and dislike thumbs up thumbs down near the exclamation mark and quote button, and you don't need to have it load and bring you back to the first page. The user clicks like/dislike button of a post, and it automatically refreshes the count without having you reload the page.

and then MAYBE, you can have the most liked comments move on top. just a thought

Plus it always brings you to the first page of the thread if you click "+1" That was the 1st and only time i'll click it, haha.

I don't like it. It looks gimmicky and doesnt fit in with the rest of the posts. There should be an option to block it if we cant get rid of it all together.

It's not so bad, but it should be less pronounced.

Look at the the globeandmail comments section, where they have a score on the comments in light grey. It's not very obvious but still noticeable. If its something like that in a corner, it would be ok.

There should definitely be a minus as well. Kinda stupid to have just one side of the equation.

It looks awkward having a +1 icon below every post, something about it doesn't seem right. Having it to the upper right corner where the report button would be more ideal.

I'm not a fan of it's location or the actual design of the button. I like the concept though. I think a reputation system would be better - or at least a way to track +1s.
