I think they just gave Davis some time to see if he could work out of his terribleness. This seems like a Snider is up for the rest of the year, even if he plays like Eric Thames, timing.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

And if he fails to impress, you guys will turn on him asap just like you did Cecil.

FYI I was never a fan of Cecil just saw so many supporters turn once Cecil started 3 games

lol as if anyone here actually thought cecil would come up and toss zeros. no one on this board "turned" on cecil. everyone pretty much expected cecil to suck. as for snider, he's presumably a better option in LF than davis so even if he doesn't rake, it won't take much to impress given the crap we've had to endure out in LF this season.

Nice start by Travis, good double off the wall, played well in the field (better than Thanes or Rajai as a left fielder), and says all the right things in interviews. He needs to be kept up with the big club the rest of the season, give him a fair shot, and see once and for all how good he is.

Depressed by the trade. Travis is a potential great young outfielder, and fits in so well with the other young Blue Jays. One of the Fan590's baseball guys, Sam Cosentino I think, was touting this just last week, how as soon as Snider was called up, he fits in so well in the clubhouse with Lawrie, Arencibia and Rasmus. Makes me lose faith in Anthopolous to be honest, this trade took some of my Jays passion away.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.
