Jimmer to the Jazz!?!

He's not! Shut up!

He's actually very polarizing. No one pays attention to Weber and they didn't get to the tourney. It's easy to ignore Ogden.

i would do that, i like Earl very much but his last season was quite bad, now he is 3 pg in rotation, GSW did really good job this offseason if they will stay healthy they have some serious chance to fight for play offs if so our pick will be something like mid first round in semi strong draft, so this pick is not something i would not give up for good shooter and Fredette is good shooter, in such role he would be decent addition to our line up, with him as our 6 man Jazz line up would look really good, terrific balance between outside and inside presence

Is there really anything Jimmer can do that Hayward can't do?

He wouldn't replace Hayward.

Please trade for him. He won't be getting off the Kings bench much if he stays. He never should have been drafted in the first round, but this ownership is clueless.

He's gonna be out of the league in a few years, can't even get it done in the summer league.

Or could it be that Lillard isn't Mormon and Jimmer is? ;)

Yeah you got it. We were all over Mark Madsen too just because he was Mormon. The Jazz offered any player on their team at the time, but the Lakers wouldn't budge.

Mark Madsen never scored 50 points in a game, so the sarcasm doesnt quite work here. The fact is, yes...resoundingly yes. Utah fans love Jimmer because A) he was a stud in college, and B) he is Mormon. Is that really worth getting defensive over? Embrace it!

I have Mr. Gumble on my ignore list, but unfortunately it only works when one is logged in. As a side note, it amazes me how non-religious people state definitively how religious people think and act. Mind reading in the opposite direction seems to ocur much less frequently.

There are three reasons that there are threads about Jimmer Freddette and not Damian Liliard:

1) The Jazz never had a shot at drafting Lilliard without giving up major assets. However; we had a shot at drafting Jimmer. Having threads about Lillirad wouldn't be a whole lot different then having threads about Bradley Beal.
2) We can currently get Jimmer for next to nothing based on his bad fit with the Kings style of play, but Lilliard would come at an extremely high price and hasn't really done anything yet.
3) Jimmer was a National phenomenon in College and nearly propelled his team farther than any Utah team has been in a long time in the NCAA tournament. Liliard didn't even make the tournament.

Now you are calling me non-religious? You dont even know me. For all you know I could be a Stake President. There are those elite social skills again!

As I mentioned earlier, I truly recognize that I am at a disadvantage in terms of social skills when compared to you. And the fact that you are a Stake President just raises my admiration even further.

Care to respond to any of my reasons as to why we we are discussing Jimmer and not Lilliard?

Why did the rest of the country fall in love with him his last year at BYU? It wasn't because he is mormon.

The rumors have subsided, if new rumors arise from a legit media source start a new thread. But we've gone into that territory that is not worth discussing anymore.
