OT: The Dark Knight

Anyone seen it yet (Keep it spoiler free)? IMO one of the best endings ever for a movie. Tied perfectly in all past events from previous movies, and visually was great.

Good movie overall but so many plotholes and inconsistencies which I won't explain further since I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone.

Also I predicted the ending of the movie when Alfred mentioned it at the onset which made it much less of a ****

I thought it was a great movie. Great way to finish up the 3 movies.

I didn't like it as much as BB or TDK, but I thought it was the perfect way to end the trilogy.

It was a good film. not as good in my opinion as the Avengers and Amazing Spider-Man. the one thing I didn't understand was Joseph Gordon Levitt's characters real name at the end.

Well, his legal name was Robin. In a sense, he played that role in the film, being Batman's sidekick the whole way. However, the ending hints that he might be taking over as the new Dark Knight for the reboot/Justice League movie.

Its good , long but good. Its not as good as the previous one though. Its a 6.5 or a 7 out of 10. Its Beautiful but nothing that makes you jump out of your seat.

I was a little disappointed, but for a 3rd movie in a series, it was pretty good. I can't think of any other super hero trilogies where the 3rd movie didn't suck (Spider-man, X-men, Superman)

I liked it a lot. Some parts were overly corny, but I didn't really recognize that while I was watching the movie, only after it was after and I was thinking about it. The length didn't bother me because I was engaged the entire time. I don't really see why it got so many negative reviews. It didn't live up to The Dark Knight only because TDK was such an incredible movie. TDKR was very good.

I just watched TDK again today for the first time in a while and it still blows me away. That film was a masterpiece.

I liked it. I think Nolan left it open on purpose, however, *SPOILERS*
I think Nolan's original purpose of Alfred seeing batman and catwomen together was more of an imagination more than anything and he is actually dead. Keeping him alive would be purely based on a decision made by DC comics when making a Robin movie.

I thought the film was great. Just a little bit below the Dark Knight though and I think that is simply because Heath Ledger was that good as the Joker.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it shows the 5 second clock and Batman but not necessarily in the plane.

^^ Yeah, I don't think it actually showed batman. Even if it did, bruce went from the middle east to america and across a frozen river into gotham in like 8 minutes. The movie just has some illogical moments

Its not opened ended at all.

SPOILERS

You cant find one scene that shows Batman and the clock at the same time.Alfred also would not have imagined him with Selina or her wearing Bruces mom necklace.Batman is alive plain and simple.
