KG was held to 31 MPG during the season for health reasons. I think it's self explanatory as to why he got those minutes there. Hollins went down to 10 MPG in the post season and bad 3 DNP's in 20 games. That's similar to how his minutes should unfold if everyone is healthy.
I agree - that IS about what you should both expect and get from Hollins next year.
I was just noting there's a huge difference between "won't get any minutes" and 14.4 minutes in March, 13.2 minutes in April, 11.8 in the Conference quarterfinals, 12.0 in the conference Semifinals - as was the case for Hollins with the Celts. In Hollins, you're getting an 7 year veteren to be your 3rd string center, for the league minimum. One who, BTW is STILL only 27 years old, and one of the best athletes in the league. He IS the only center in the NBA that can literally jump over himself - At a Legit 7'0 tall, he has a 7'1 high jump in NCAA competition on his resume - as well as a 22 1/2 foot long jump, and a 49 foot triple jump. He's a guy who CAN start (55 games as as starter in his career) - won't take unnecessary shots (he's a career 57% on FG attempts), and is a solid locker-room guy.
