Meeks and Barbosa are more of a SG/PG while Miles was a SF/SG. I'd still like to get a better backup SF than Ebanks if possible.

I stil have faith in Ebanks that he will have a break out year. The kid needs more PT.

Ebanks can be good.

However, this team needs W.Peace's substitute to be able to shoot an open jumpshot.

That's just not Ebanks' strength.

World Peace was shooting a great 3 pt percentage last year at the end of the season. Why are people acting like he's going to suddenly come into the season out of a shape again when there's no lockout? Don't think we necessarily need more someone who has to drill threes as a backup sf.

You're wrong.

Maybe they don't need a 40% 3 point shooter behind W.Peace, but they need one that can shoot at least 35%.

And maybe they don't need a true backup SF at all, but they'd, at the very minimum, need a sweet shooting SG who can gain backup minutes for W.Peace by sliding Kobe down to backup SF.

Come on Mitch, use the mini-level exemption. Get the team that one last good role player. Make it a 2 or 3 year deal. Get your moneys worth. You gave it to Luke and others...

A fella named Kobe Bryant might be available to play some backup SF? He's a smidge better than this Ebarks lad... Hehe

Get a b/u experienced 2 and call it a day. Kobe and Jamison can handle the 18-20 mpg at SF between them.

When a player is off the board, why do they not take down the topic.
