Id rank best players with their peak (1 year) like this (only impact the game)
1a Jordan
1b Shaq
1c Wilt
2 Kareem
3 Lebron
4 Bird
5 Hakeem, Magic
6 Robinson,Russel
For first 3 players its very tough call, but offensively Jordan>Shaq>Wilt and defensively Wilt>Jordan>=Shaq. If Jordans offense is 10, Shaq - 9,5, Wilt - 9,Wilts defense is 10,Jordans-9,5, Shaqs-9,5-9.

Can you provide a source to back this up?
No one here knows more about Russell than I do. There is no source other than what a poster here said one day. Same as when another poster claimed Kareem was injured against Nate Thurmond, which explains why he got shut down by Thurmond in the postseason, it wasn't that Thurmond's defensive ability had anything to do with it. Just excuses and attempted rationalizations.
Let's be clear here, the person who said Russell was injured was BASTILLON, you know, someone many of you seem to respect a lot just because he throws a bunch of numbers at you, and how could anyone disrespect that? But every now and then the numbers work against him, he can't even find numbers he can cherrypick, so he resorts to repeating the same lie over and over and over and over. Anyway, I made a case for why this highest peak of all time stuff is a joke considering people are fooled by people throwing numbers at their face, and that there is no qualitative analysis anywhere within any of the threads except from (notably) Dipper13 and ardee.

Why have you bumped this thread specifically to quote me, Mayap/DaRkJaWs/HeterodoxView, considering the fact that I voted Wilt in this thread, and have continued to do so? I couldn't care less about your agenda, nor to be lumped in with whomever you're talking about.
I remember your posts from the RPOY project, you consistently brought it. Please continue to do so, sir. This board needs guys like you to counteract ... worthless posters

I quoted you for no reason other than to comment on what you said, but I am incredulous that you wouldn't name the person responsible considering you most likely knew exactly who it was that said it. Even now you refuse to even say his name.

Re: #1 Highest Peak of All Time (Jordan '91 wins)
its interesting to debate top-5 peak years. I think only Jordan is non-center in these discussion. And he is number 1 probably.
for me top-5 peak years: MJ 91, Shaq 00,Wilt 67, Kareem 77, Hakeem 94.
offensive impact
1.Jordan
2. Shaq
3.Wilt
4.Kareem
5. Hakeem
defensive impact
1.Hakeem
2.Wilt
3. Kareem
4.Mj
5.Shaq
( 3-5 are equal for me)
clutch impact:
1.Mj
2.Kareem
3.Hakeem
4.Shaq
5.Wilt
so... my rankings - 1.Mj 2.Shaq 3.Wilt 4.Kareem 5.Hakeem
