The problem isn't their beliefs, but rather their attempts to deny gay people the right to marry under law. Thinking what you like is fine, as is saying what you like, even if it pisses people off. Attempting to control others' lives because of your belief in an ancient fairy tale, not fine.

I am against gay marrage, I don't have anything against homosexual people I just don't think they should be aloud to marry as that's a religious bond between two people of oppersite sexes

You know marriage go on in other countries between people who are related, right? Marriage isn't a Christian thing. It's something that people of all religions, cultures and races do all over the world.
