It's his view and he is entitled to that but I disagree with it. Gay/lesbian marriage will be legalized in every state before the end of this century. Book it.

I'm hoping in a hundred years government isn't involved with marriage. I support the movement to get government out of marriage. Among other things, it makes the gay-marriage debate a moot point.

There is a right answer. They didn't allow multicultural marriages decades ago and people were against it. It was wrong then and it would be wrong now. This is this generation's version of that.

It's something that people of all religions, cultures and races do all over the world. Interracial marriage does not have the same implications as same sex marriage, don't even go there. Interracial marriage doesn't involve anything that goes against or defies holy matrimony, same-sex marriage does.

Homosexuals cannot reproduce and bear children. It is not a normal union. I don't care if they are both adult humans. There are a lot of things that adult humans can or can't do, and we accept it. Why are gays special?

Depends on the state, but either way, marriage is seen as something that is done by the church. Make it separate from the church completely and I bet gay marriage get passed in 90% of the states in 2 years.

Okay, if it's a genetic abnormality, you obviously accept that the people in question have no control over their sexual orientation. If this is so, why punish them for something that they have no say in? Letting them marry harms no one, and if you're implying that it's in society's interest to only recognize marriage leading to children, then we'd have to ban the elderly, sterile and those who don't want children from marrying as well.
