Crying, Always the Jazz with the Crying
First Larry, then Jerry, now Gail and Randy Rigby... can't we have a damn press conference without someone crying?

Personally I think it stems from the local culture that put a premium on emotional experiences.

Hmmm, if were simply KOC being promoted why would anyone be crying? Makes you think there must be something behind this like health concerns.

Sometimes job changes are tear-jerkers. If Barry Soetoro gets a new job....I will cry tears of joy.

Dude's taking on duties that basically were Larry Miller's ones. I expected it to be kind of emotional. Is there any reason to expect Gail to act like a tough dude?

I can certainly understand why--seeing someone else move into duties that Larry used to handle I'm sure must surface some tender feelings. Before now was probably too soon followed by not the right time for changes with the summer's worth of GM work to get done. Right now is a slow period where they are waiting to see if what they have is what they thought it was--and waiting for any other trades to surface. Welcome Dennis--hope things go well!

I'm not a David Locke die hard, I respect his numbers games because they remove emotions from the equation, but sometimes emotion is a statistic itself. That being said David Locke had a really interesting podcast this morning. Talked about why the Jazz made the moves they have.

I personally enjoy that. In my opinion it shows that they care, and its not just about money (not all the time, anyway).
Regards.

I'm happy that Greg and Gail Miller decided to make this move. Greg is simply not as interested in running LHM Group of Companies as Larry - he likes to ride his Land Rovers across different continents and give speeches at new car dealership opening events...which is fine, I'm just glad he's not in denial about it and is willing to disseminate the power.

Well, if there was ever any doubt about Gail being a woman, we now know. Damn showing such weakness! Now the rest of the league knows we can be pushed around like crybabies... God help us...

There's no crying in baseball so they should knock it off.
Fortunately, KOC and Greg didn't cry.
The Jazz need some execs who don't break down in tears at every event.
