Give Melky Cabrera 6yr/75mm contract next year. He just coming in to his own and will develop a bit more power as he ages. 320/25/110 for the next 6 years would be nice. Maybe swap Braun to CF, he has better range.
Aoki LF, Braun CF, and Cabrera RF(he has a gun)

Cut Morgan
Gomez for platoon.

Segura
Weeks
Cabrera
Braun
Ramirez
Hart
Lucroy
Aoki

That looks great to me.

If we spend money, it's most likely going to be on pitching.

That is quite possibly the worst idea I've ever seen.

Did you find a picture with the exact same background color or did RealGM figure that out somehow?

Not saying that I want to trade him, but could Lucroy land us a #2 pitcher? Maybe the rays who need a catcher, Hellickson or Moore

I don't think Lucroy nets either of those guys. Hellickson's peripherals worry me A LOT anyway.

Can't trade Luc. Great catching is just as hard to find as great pitching.

Zero reason to trade Luc. His contract is probably a steal.

Some random Off-Season Work with ideas already mentioned

1. Trade Hart and Maldonado to Rays for Hellickson - Rays need a 1B and Catcher - Save around $10 Mil
2. Let Wolf, K-Rod, Marcum, Veras and Morgan Go - Save $27 Mil from 2012
3. Offer Gomez, Loe, Narveson, Axford and Estrada Arbitration. Figure $6Mil total

4. This is the biggest move and had mix reviews here and probably wouldn't happen - Offer Hamilton 4/100 contract

Rotation - Not to sure on what 2-5 will make
Yo - 8
Hellickson - 450K
Fiers - 450k
Rogers - 450K
Narveson - 750K

Bullpen
Estrada - 750K
Thornburg - 450K
Darren Byrd - 450K
Hellweg - 450K
Loe -2.3
Jim Henderson - 450K
Axford - 2mil

Figure Around $20 Mil for pitching

Line Up
Aoki - 1.25
LuCroy - 850K
Braun - 9.6
Hamilton - 25
Ramirez - 10
Weeks - 11
Morris - 450K
Segura - 450K

Around $60 Mil for Starting Line Up

Bench
Gomez - 2.2
Buller - 450K
Green - 450K
Bianchi - 450K
Kearns - 1.5

Around $5 Mil for Bench

I didn't really know how much the rookies would be making, but thats $85 Mil

That stuff isn't going to happen. I realize this is a message board so we can all speculate and have fun, but the Rays won't trade that for Hart (especially with only 1 year left on his contract) and a backup catcher and Hamilton is not signing here for that much.

Estrada is likely going to be in the rotation next year. As for Rogers, i see 150 innings from him being an absolute best case scenario. It's nice to see him pitch better and stay healthy so far this year, but i'm far from convinced that he can avoid walking to many batters as he's done his whole professional career.

Never said it was going to happen, but just pointing out how we could look it we would make similar moves. I know Hamilton probably wouldn't sign here, but 4/100 is a fair offer. Hart and Maldonado for Shields might work. Shields is 30, having an ok year 10-7 4.08 and has club options for the next 2 years. With Price, Hellickson and now Moore and Cobb, they could look to improve in other areas.
