Kobe's looked like **** the last couple games. It doesn't necessarily mean anything, he could play better in the medal rounds, and he didn't look very good in 08 until the gold medal game and then played great in the 09 NBA season.

But the way he's played the last couple games here concerns me because he's not just missing shots, he's going out of his way to score one-on-one and failing badly. Its honestly kind of embarrassing when the other guys are all playing off of each other and moving the ball. He's sticking out like a sore thumb. I think at this point i'd rather he be doubled because he can make the right play out of the post, whereas when he gets single coverage he's past the point in his career where he can score efficiently and leisurely.

He's made some bad decisions yeah but i don't see him playing particularly bad. He's not as good as Lebron or Durant anymore and he doesn't need to be. That's not news and not a reason for concern.

?

Kobe was 3-10 today, and 1-7 last game. That's horrible.

"He's playing the same as last season" wut... he's on the Olympic team with amazing teammates, why should be play inefficient like on the Lakers last season.

I don't know if I read your post wrong but if I didn't, it really doesn't make sense.

I don't think the 15lbs is as big an issue these Olympics as much as him straight up ballhogging to try to prove some point.

Seems I've been mis reading these box scores put out by NBC olympics. How embarassing. That's a little bit different there. Didn't seem like he missed that many shots over the game watching it live...that is pretty bad though.

Kilroy and crazyeights.......y'all wrong for those pics!

And I wouldn't make too much of Kobe's performances in these Olympics, he's use to be Opt #1. You just can't dial it down like that and expect to look good. Some of y'all make it seem like Kobe should start collecting SSI payments at 34 ! He'll just store this in his memory and bust up his Olympic mates when it counts on his turf.

Remember looking at that team after LeBron who's floss'in more rings than Kobe ?

And LeBron just got his....just say"in.

@Deep3

Your last post might make some sense if almost everybody else on the US Olympic basketball team wasn't the #1 one option on their respective teams.

Chandler isn't and Westbrook isn't even though lots of times he acts like he is.. Lol

Kobe was the #1 option for the Lakers during the Beijing olympics, then he became a #2/#3 option and he still did very well.
