He's playing on a team with Chris Paul, Deron Williams and LeBron, why would you expect Melo to be setting players up to score when he's playing with them?

Look everybody has been comparing Durant to Melo lately. This is a great opportunity to compare them. In the same tourney Durant has 20 assists to roughly the same number of FGA.

I think it's pretty clear that somebody doesn't like coming off the bench and is trying to prove it by scoring a lot.

I don't have a link but I saw an interview after the game where Sager asked him how he felt about coming off the bench and Melo basically said "some games I start some games I come off the bench". Which is interesting because he hasn't started any games.
