I just realized, that LeBron had a triple-double:

11 Points
11 Assists
14 Rebounds

Holy crap...he had NO turnover in 30 minutes!

Admit it, your allegiance was tested there.

As a Kobe nut hugger or as an Australian?

Both occurred throughout that game.

I wont lie though, i was up out of my seat when he was draining those 3s in awe. I the realised what i was doing.

Guilt swept all through me.

What a day. Went to all 4 games.

- Barbosa absolutely broke Chapu so bad.
- The Batum thing with Navarro was crazy
- The Argentinian fans were amazing and ended up dancing in the arena corridors during the USA game.
- I shook David 'The Great One' Stern's hand
- Australia were impressive with their fight
- Huertas' game is so Steve Nash. The one footed threes were ridiculous.

The latter - if you have your priorities straight! But hey, at least you still have something to cheer for in the tourney.

Not like Team USA is entirely simple to reconcile even as an American & Bulls fan. Some shady characters on this crew. Ah well, if I can accept seeing John Starks in a Bulls uniform I guess anything is possible.

can i ask an Olympic question, non basketball, sort of, but it fits here as well as any spot.

is NBC the only television camera crew running around, was watching the Track & field finals and when they're announcing the names, and the camera is up in the face of the participants, I never saw two or three camera's, just one, (nbc)
so china, russia, japan etc ? non of them have their own TV camera crews ? or are they just doing a good job of not showing 5 TV camera's in somebody's face...

Watch this.....it's amazing:

Usain Bolt’s 9.63 set an Olympic record in the 100. So how far ahead of every Olympic medalist is he?

Look like 2016 could be the last real Olympics for basketball.

The 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro are unlikely to be 23 and under for men's basketball, according to a source.

The NBA has publicly expressed interest in working with FIBA on a World Cup of Basketball.

But passage of a new rule in time for the 2016 games is unlikely.

Sources say that the NBA has not changed its strong interest in eventually creating a World Cup, with the target being the 2020 Olympics.

Spain are toast. I wanted to see this generation of Spaniards win an Olympic gold, but no way is that happening.

Russia are one heck of a team though.
