Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
Sources: Magic, Lakers discussing many trade proposals including deals allowing Lakers to keep Gasol. Nothing imminent but sides confident

When was the last time we knew about a big Laker trade before it happened? I honestly don't remember. The Nash thing was done in 2 seconds.

Jared Dubin ‏@JADubin5
You know why I highly doubt this Dwight deal will happen (other than the 4-team deal thing)? We know about it. Lakers don't deal that way.

Barring any last minute snag, D-Howard will be a Laker by tomorrow. Bynum will be in Philly. And we'll all expect a Lakers/Heat Finals.

Is it over yet?

That's my exact thinking. The Lakers don't leak this type of stuff. Somebody out there is leaking this stuff with a agenda behind it *cough cough Nets cough cough* 8-)

Why do all these All-Star teams form the minute we're good again? 10 year of awfulness and there wasn't this type of talent stacked on one team before. Now we're about to get 2 powerhouse teams (Lakers and Heat) and we will be nowhere close to their standard.

Unless OKC or the Clippers have something to say to the Lakers. Only Boston has a chance of derailing the Heat in the East!!!

This dude doesn't even see us getting past boston not to mention miami. smh

A lot of folks have us a notch below Brooklyn. Hell, once Philly gets Bynum that effectively could put this stacked Knick roster fighting for 6th, 7th and 8th with CHI, ATL, and our NBDL affiliate behind...

1. Miami
2. Boston
3. Indy
4. Philly
5. Brooklyn

Boston, maybe, and that's only whether or not Doc can infuse all of his new talent.

Miami, it would take the perfect storm.

On either i wouldn't bet my house on it.
