This is the magic board where all players (minus magic players) are overrated.

My point being that if the guy puts up mid to high teen's PPG numbers...and he is a decent defender, it's not like $7mil/yr is CRAZY. Everybody wants Iggy and he makes $14mil/yr and put up 12-6-5.5 last year. You don't hear everybody ranting and raving about that do you?

Personally I don`t want to tie money to role players, so I`m not enamored with Iggy or Afflalo, but I think Iggy has a higher value in terms of a trade.

Because he doesn't have many NBA minutes under his belt (not a lot of wear-and-tear), has improved every single year, and 27 is still pretty young....what perspective people need to get is that you don't have to be 22 to be useful/productive in the NBA. Where in the hell did this all come from? Kobe was winning championships into his 30s, so was MJ, so was Shaq, so was Duncan, so was Wade.....I mean just stop.

27 is the normal prime age. Players usually do not get better after their prime. Anyways, he is a good player and I would love to have him but he is a great piece only if your team is ready to contend soon. We will not be that team anytime soon.

Like I said, I'll gladly take back:
Pau
Turner
Chandler

for:
Dwight
JRich
Duhon
Q

Then flip Gasol for a few piece and begin to tank for shabazz/Noel.

I actually want to see the final deal before I get all upset about it. For all we know, we could be getting Bynum, Iggy, and maybe even Galinari.

Who would we flip Gasol to? He's paid way too much and is declining so who the hell would want him?

I would hope that Hennigan would have already made calls about this and has something secured or else, you're right, it would be a failure.
