One can only hope. I just don't see the deal being Afflalo + Pau because if that's the case Orlando was better off just sticking with an LAL-ORL deal.

If it's a done deal then why hasn't the deal leaked yet? 4 teams, someone should be squealing!

What are we officially getting back for Howard? Affalo, Ebanks, McRoberts, Spencer Hawes, T.Young and picks?

Affalo would be a nice piece to our team...2 years ago. He's a good player but not what we need for a rebuild. Even though he's not old, his potential is pretty much maxed out. Obviously same thing with Gasol, the deal sucks, we get nowhere.

I just can't see it only being Afflalo + picks....

They've been very adamant that they are waiting to fulfill 3 primary goals (which I assume are picks, a potential star, salary dump). Maybe they're really high on Afflalo, but the picks will suck from those teams, and can we really dump anything other than maybe just JRich? Maybe the Magic found a way to get rid of Turk as well and are jumping at the chance? Otherwise I simply don't see how this doesn't at LEAST involve Pau + Afflalo. Why rush into it now if it isn't what they want? If anything, why not wait for Lamb and the gang from Houston to all be avail for trade so that they can see what Houston is really willing to give up? Maybe this is a last ditch effort to get Houston to bite?

Return to Orlando Magic
