I actually heavily dislike Orlando now and will enjoy watching them suck....used to not mind them.. after everything their FO has said about finding the right deal for dwight over the months.. and this..how can you show them respect....they did this to them selves

someone said it earlier but clearly Henigen is a boy trying to play a mans game.

Admittedly, i am a player fan first (Steve Nash) but this deal... i hate rooting for the favorites so yeah, goodbye Steve Nash. (And thank you Orlando for giving me a reason not to cheer for Los Angeles)

But you have to give them their props, they have a great front office. You can say what you want about the zip code but that's irrelevant, it's more to do with the organization.

They drafted Bynum and Kobe. Traded for Gasol and Howard. And they offered Shaq the most money in free agency. They're just really good at the top.

They traded for Kobe.

this makes no sense for the magic, they give up the best big man in the leauge- a top 4 player, and dont even get the 2nd or even 3rd best player in the deal..... no high potential young talent, and dont even get rid of their 2 worst contract..... richardsons contract is not even that bad

lawl....that new Orlando GM is doing great so far. Big splash alright...he's already getting bent to begin his career if this trade is true, can't image how much more bending he'll take in future trades. I thought he was going to be some hot new hardball GM that Magic always needed? Thought Magics had all these big talk about their requirements they wanted back when they decide to trade Howard.

Or is this some leak by Mr. Fegan himself to get things rolling again. lol

Orlando couldn't even get Bynum? Maybe the NBA needs to institute Pop's trade committee idea after all. This is a joke.

Say good night if you're not a Miami Heat or LA Lakers fan for the next 3 years.

Man Lakers FO is something else

It's not their FO...it is their zip code. You think Cleveland, for example, couldn't offer a MUCH better package if Dwight would re-sign? Of course they could. LA is in LA. It has NOTHING to do with their FO.

Actually it does, when all these players come in trades, and no team has to send their player to LA, and the Magic had better offers from Brooklyn and Houston, and the Lakers still were the ones to make the deal work.

That's Mitch. He sort of has a track record.

Don't care if lakers get Dwight, but when Orlando walks away with Arron Afflalo, Harrinton, and Vucew/e thats just disgusting.

As a Rockets fan I see this as a win-win.

We actually commit to rebuilding while the superfranchises of the Now are duking it out and I get to watch so freaking awesome basketball when it comes down to the Heat, Lakers, Celtics, Spurs and Thunder.

I love the NBA!

According to the Internet, the Hornets had agreed to trade that pick to the Lakers the day before the draft. The Lakers told the Hornets who to pick. Hence they drafted him.

Leaving aside what Sixers will get out of this, the trade is pretty bad for Orlando. It's like that front office strives to be the farm team for the Lakers.

But with a core of Holiday, Turner and Bynum im not complaining :)
