Also if he backs out, I imagine the Sixers, Nuggets and Lakers will be FURIOUS.

Yeah, they'd probably never do deals with us again. Gosh this is sad. Will be nice to get the final details tomorrow. Hopefully its better than what's been posted.

This could be the worst trade of all time. If you're stuck with Harrington and Afflalo's big contracts and three bottom 10 picks..... worst deal of all time.

Don't do that, move to San Francisco. I know the Warriors roster isn't much right now, but two years ago Joe lacob and co. bought the team and cleaned our garbage front office out completely. His background is in finance and VentureCpatial so he understands this business like crazy. Hell we just flipped Monta Ellis for Andrew Bogut last year, clearly we didn't have the foresight that Hennigan had a giant pussy!

He's also working on a stadium deal on the pier in SF, and moving out of the literal garbage dump that is Oakland.

It is possible that this might be a play by Hennigan.....Pull out at the last minute when everyone thinks a deal is done.....that would be epic and would create some more bipolar fans here....one minute we love Henny the next he's worse than Otis.....gotta love this board....

I didn't want to gift Dwight to LA if we weren't getting back Bynum or an insane package, so I will be pissed if something like this goes down...

Just root for the lakers. Not because they just got Dwight but because their organization knows how to build a contender while the magic continually lose every trade they make.... Even when they trade the second best player in the league, they come in last out of the four teams involved in the trade.

Sorry its all big market and leverage by the all stars. No magical thing that makes Lal the best.

Sure, being LA is huge but look at this deal, they don't even take back any trash and only gave up Bynum... They never lose a deal because they don't get desperate and force anything. They also draft well (fisher, Kobe, Gasol, Bynum).

That's the only positive in this deal. Hopefully we snuck Duhon in there some where.

You do realize Wallace was traded to NJ by Portland for what turned out to be the #7 pick aka Lillard right?

NJ trade woulda still been worse. Lopez/Wallace/Humphries is garbage. This trade as reported is slightly less garbage.......but still garbage

The deal before the season started last year was a three-way between us, POR &NJ, getting Lopez, Wallace and Nets pick. And I do think that trade is better as long as we don't overpay Lopez & Wallace like NJ did. That pick alone is better than this deal, I can't see why we'd do it.

This deal is atrocious. While we don't know all of the details, none of the teams involved have the room to take back any more deals other than the ones already being reported.

We're going to trade Howard for Harkless, 3 late first round picks, and a trash foreign center?

Only the Brooklyn deal was worse, barely. Good God. We're not getting back any high upside talent, cap space, or high lottery picks?

Sorry, but this deal would be indefensible. I refuse to believe that whatever Houston was actually offering...wasn't better than this.

I`m a Bynum hater but, I can`t believe the Sixers got a better trade than us.We had the proven commodity and we end up with this trash. YUCK.

I don't see what makes this so much different than the Houston deal (which apprently never quite as lucrative as we liked to fantasize).

Instead of rookies, we get them in the form of draft picks. We get Harkless, who most of us liked leading up to the draft. Vujevic was promising in spurts last year. Afflalo is a good player. We dump J-rich.

This is far and away better than letting him walk. Far and away better than trading for veterans and being mediocre.

It's not our dream deal, certainly, but I think the level of freak out in here is unwarranted.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

If this goes down then we would still have to make some more deals after that to clean up the clutter and logjams......

So you think DWill and Dwight on the Nets get the same lottery pick?
