Are you completely disregarding team chemistry? You realize how incompetent both Dwight and Josh Smith are outside the paint right? Pau is the perfect player to gel with Nash. This team is set now. We don't need to make any more moves.

I dont know about set (yeah its a great team on paper) ...quicker 4s are going to have there way with Pau Gasol..guys like Blake/Millsap/Boshthe paint can be clogged with Gasol and Dwight...Yes Pau likes to shoot the baseline 12 footer but he wont be able to get out on fast breaks like Josh would be able to with Nash ...Yeah the pick and roll can work with Nash and Gasol but also work with Josh if he doesnt settle for jump shots and attacks rim .

Everything else aside the Hawks aren't going to make that trade. They've already cleared a bunch of cap space and the last I heard Josh Smith was pretty satisfied with the team.
