I know not a lot of teams would actually employ the strategy, but down the stretch of a close game, or even at the end of quarters, this may be a liability for the Lakers- if opposing coaches are smart.
There's no way to foresee what actual game situations will be like, but having Dwight in during late 4th quarters could be a sliver of daylight for a coach looking to utilize an advantage. With Bynum, the Lakers didn't have this problem (as opposed to a lack of defensive anchor, I say that's a good tradeoff- but I digress).
I, for one, am excited to see Pop use it
Still can't do it past the 2 min mark in the 4th. The most important part of any close game.
