im not gonna be suprised if henny drafts Mohammed who will remind him of a better James Harden.

next year we still suck and we pick Wiggins who will remind of a a Durant/Lebron. 8-)

It's sickening to think that players are then ones who are running the show in this league.... Demanding the money they get demanding which team they go to etc.... At some point the league has to take everything back and stop kissing all the whining kids asses all the time. It's time to give them a reality check. Something need to seriously be enforced in this league or it's going to get even more out of hand and teams will start folding and the league will eventually collapse

Bynum was obviously on the table and the FO didn't want anything to do with him, that's not the fault of any other team but ours

Bynum is Dwight all over again. They didn't wanna go through with that. ME first guy to the bone. Wouldn't commit to extension/re-signing so he could walk at end of year for nothing. Major injury concerns. What part of that is any different than Dwight really other than the personal drama/history with us?

Don't mistake me. I prob would've rather rolled the dice with Bynum than this deal....but I can see where an organization/GM/coach trying to build up a high-class organization from the ground up wouldn't want to put up with Bynum. I'm still shocked they didn't go for Pau to at least anchor the team and then try to flip him at a later stage...

non protected means u get the pick whether its 1 or its 30.

Protected means it cant be given to u if its in a certain part of the draft that the team trading the pick decides(ie i believe our picks we are getting are Lottery protected so anything outside the top 14).

if that is legit then i'm really lost...i have no frickin idea what's going on.....Dwight doesn't have a no trade clause so where ever we trade him he's going....then he's someone else's problem....although with his skills he's not a bad problem to have for a season if he's leaving anyway

A pick being 'protected' means that if it is high enough in the draft, usually in the lottery, then the team keeps it that year and the team receiving it has to wait til the next year to receive it. Picks can be 'protected' for varying lengths of time, and through various spots in the draft (top 3 protected, top 10 protected, etc).

We don't know exactly what the protection is on the picks that we'll receive in this deal...but since the teams sending them to us are likely to be in the playoffs, it probably won't matter much.

As of right now, there is slim-to-none chance that we have any top 5 pick other than our own for the next couple of years.

Oh okay I got you. Wow. 3-4 protected picks + our own pick could be pretty solid. I guess that's something to be happy about.

take their final offer of Lopez Humphries brooks 4 unprotected 1st. try to flip lopez into a team looking for a center. eat humphries contract or trade him.
