Those tweets from D12 CAN'T be real.

If they are, then this night just reached another level of epic ridiculousness.

lol if those DMs are real. I wonder if he realizes that the only way he can get to Brooklyn, barring a trade, is the paltry sum of the tax payers MLE.

Btw, the Nets final offer on the wiretap is certainly not what we were hearing several weeks ago. I seem to recall the Nets in a mad scramble to sign and trade Humphries to a third team and hold onto Marshon Brooks.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I'm not all that happy about this trade but the whiners with all the negative spins on the situation need to relax.

Yes, Philly and Denver improved more than we did. But you know what, I'd bet that we get to the Finals before them because they'll run with their teams and try to improve on em before they realize they're teams aren't going anywhere. At least we're rebuilding now. We're going to have flexibility for once and I'd like to see what Hennigan does with it before judging.

The focus is on the draft and player development. Who knows how it's going to turn out? But at least the stench that's been polluting the Magic organization for the past two years will be gone. Bash the organization and decision makers all you want. The Magic have gone through this before and have made it back to relevance enough to earn my loyalty. And when the Magic return to relevance like I think they will, you guys will be cheering just the same.

This was always going to suck. But I'm certainly more comfortable with this deal than Brooklyn's deal.

The only bright side to this is I can cancel my season tix and spend the money on something else more useful ... let's see - maybe scratch-off lottery tickets, which would actually have a chance of winning once in a while.

non protected means u get the pick whether its 1 or its 30.

Protected means it cant be given to u if its in a certain part of the draft that the team trading the pick decides(ie i believe our picks we are getting are Lottery protected so anything outside the top 14).

Oh okay I got you. Wow. 3-4 protected picks + our own pick could be pretty solid. I guess that's something to be happy about.

those picks being protected suck, i bet all of them have top 15 protected on them, so no lottery picks for us if they miss the playoffs

Who discovered those fake Dwight DMs on Twitter? Because they probably created them.

I would laugh if Dwight tells LAL in January that he won't re-sign with them and only wants to be traded to the Nets. Would the Lakers take Lopez for Dwight?

How in the world would that be better? The draft picks sure as hell wouldn't be better as the Nets would be up there with Miami and L.A. as the elite teams. All we'd be doing with the Nets deal is force ourselves to build around Brook Lopez... No way in hell is the Nets deal better.

Brook Lopez vs. Clean slate & flexibility. The rest is AT WORST equal, but in my opinion the current deal is better.

Yeah but he was already dumped by ESPN once. I don't know what he did that got him back on the air, but whoever made that decision should have been fired as well.

I know everyone hates SAS but I mean..I really doubt he COMPLETELY made up talking to Dwight.

He said he spoke to him and Dwight is happy and relieved that it's all over..those DMs scream fake to me

Hell, even if they are real, the Lakers would still make that trade. Dwight isn't going to hold out, and they'll have a good chance at winning the title. Plus, it's not like they're giving up the farm.
