Im not talking about the talent..
Its just hilarious how Orlando gave away the best C in the league

All they get back are late picks, and average role players
Here's the math for Orlando.
They're looking to basically rebuild while retaining young talent and accumulating picks.
If they did the Nets deal, they would be forced to give Brook Lopez a max deal.
If they did the Bynum deal, they would be forced to give Andrew Bynum a max deal.
In either case, both those guys would threaten to make Orlando a mediocre team without the flexibility to move up, limbo hell for any team.
The only logical trade partner would have been Houston, but I am guessing Houston didn't want to trade for Dwight without assurance he would sign an extension (an assurance he's not giving anyone because he's a b*tch).
Now, Orlando is at least well positioned going into the 2014-15 season with 4 players under contract (Nelson, Afflalo, Davis, Nicholson) and some picks. They will undoubtedly be terrible this season and be in a position to grab a talented player in the lottery, which is historically how Orlando always rebuilds.
