Brian K. Schmitz @MagicInsider: If goal is to one day win title, you don't start the drive with BLopez. If you like 38-44, 8th seed for 4 years at $60 million, be my guest

Remember when we thought a Houston deal was close and then we heard they only wanted to give us one of each? Far cry from this reported package just now. Seems to me it's just butthurt media making stuff up out of spite.
I mean come on. I know Hennigan is public enemy #1 right now, but the man is not mentally challenged. If such an obviously better deal was out there, I think we would have taken it.

You mean like signing Jameer for $8 mil when he could have had him for $6 mil?

Orlando would get Denver guard Arron Afflalo, Denver forward Al Harrington, Philadelphia small forward Moe Harkless, Philadelphia center Nikola Vucevic, three future first-round picks (one lottery-protected from the Sixers, the lower of Denver's two first-rounders in 2014 and the Lakers' 2017 first-rounder) and two second-round picks
One source said Philadelphia was very reluctant to give up Harkless, the 15th pick in the June draft, and that Sixers officials continued looking for ways to avoid having to do so late Thursday.

Not a single team in the NBA would have given Meer anything more than the MLE.

@sam_amick
Sources say Orlando also gets Lakers forward Josh McRoberts in the Dwight Howard deal.
