The only redemption for me would be waking up sometime next summer and watching Howard signing a deal with a team not named the Lakers. Yes wishful thinking, but that would actually make this trade worth my while. Otherwise, it is the worst trade/PR move for a franchise I may have ever seen.

Why the hell would Hennigan sit back and let Martins make this move?

Is he just a puppet as GM? This trade completely destroyed his credibility.

Just more dysfunction from one of the most dysfunctional franchises in the NBA.
