I hate this trade to the core but I really do like Maurice Harkless and Christian Eyegna who nobody is talking about. I really would like to see these two guys get a whole lot of time at the three spot this year. Eyenga is really bouncy and has a solid mid range shot and Maurice is a defender but I just want to see the young guys get some time.

He's full of crap.

For some reason, I do not think things will work out for him like he thinks in L.A.

As hard as this deal is given the compensation, it's time to move forward.

wow man left for a few hours came back and people are still piping hot about this.....a lot of butthurt it seems in this thread.....i guess the difference for me is that i made my peace with Dwight being traded a long time ago i guess that's why i'm indifferent now.....don't really understand the animosity....i can understand being a bit miffed but damn some of you guys sound like your ready to jump off the suntrust no parachute....

Personally if i was in Howard's place i would be ecstatic, after all he did he gets what he wants. This also gives him a better chance at a title than Brooklyn. Big lights of LA, superstar players playing alongside him, winning championships. This guy must be going crazy happy. I really wanted him to deal with this in a better way, i will forever be a Magic fan, but i won't really hate him. I hate what he did, but *sigh* it is what it is. I'll wish him the best, the last 8 years were extremely memorable.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Dwight force a trade to the Nets now that he is with the Lakers. Just so I can see the Lakers fans squirm when they have to get Brook Lopez for him.

So who is the next superstar to force their way to a large market team? Kevin Love?

I thought we had a lockout to prevent this from happening. So that small market teams could make profit. These superstars can just make the $30 mil or whatever they lose with marketing endorsements. What's the chances of another lockout or redoing of the CBA again? To prevent this crap from happening.

When we do get our next all-star player from the draft, I don't want him being able to force his way out and we just continue to be a farm for the Lakers or other large market teams.

So now that our franchise is a laughingstock, and forever disgraced how do you guys feel about it? This is the new standard of bad trades for everyone in the world and the Magic's reputation is in the ****, will the Magic ever recover from this?
