Another cat crituque me like he was on his high horse, about a bogus tweet about Jarrod Ruddolph and Dwight's girl giving hints of the Howard deal, then the next day Howard was a Laker. Just saying, K Mart lives in LA and might settle on playing very little for this team to get a ring. 8-), you never know

No matter the outcome, that second tweet you posted is completely pointless since it says (Via @JaredZwerling) who provided the first tweet you quoted. Jarrod Ruddolph is a reporter in the Orlando market, therefore the odds of him having Orlando sources are higher than those in the New York market having sources for LA (which is notoriously tight-lipped as is).

You are correct though, we don't know and he may indeed sign for the minimum in LA.

The only reason he'd see the floor is the first part of the season when howard is still recovering

Kenyon's a better defender against 3s than Ebanks is. You could get away with him at the 3 and Jamison at the 4. He's a very good P and R defender. In addition both Martin and Jamison can crossmatch if they're on the floor posting up SFs.

We have no use for him, we have his younger counterpart in JHill. He brings all the same qualities, like defense, hustling and rebounding.

If we didn't have Hill, he would be a good pickup. What we do need is a backup 3, who is preferably young and serviceable.

1 - Dwight could miss a month, you don't want to wear Pau out and Kenyon is a better post defender than any but we have sans Dwight

2 - Kenyon can guard SFs as he was out on Rudy Gay for it all last postseason. Him and Jamison can just switch roles on O and D. Let Jamison be the 3 on O with his jumper and 4 on D since he defensive oars better, let Kenyon chase SF and be the pf on O as he orebs better

3 - Kenyon knows about playoff basketball, has finals experience, and just outright has that nasty in him which was the difference between the Grizzlies not raping the Clippers and rapingnthe Spurs the year before

Since we don't have a back up SF (I'm not really sold on Ebanks), maybe we can have this line up.

Nash/Blake
Kobe/Meeks
MWP/Jamison
Pau/Kenyon
Howard/Hill

NETS PLEASE.

this guys is horrible, can't defend for **** anymore and goes for the putback dunk all the time (succeeds 1 every 10 tries to appear on sportscenter) and he thinks he's good offensively, so he takes a lot of **** shots.

Hill >>>>>>>>>>>> martin.

Kenyon Martin would be a perfect guy to sign if howard is out till Jan. otherwise, he is a waste of talent on our deep forward/center bench.

Unless, there is going to be some legal problems with Hill... or if Jamison gets the injury bug

Martin is the best option as 5th big man.

if not Kenyon maybe we should sign Milicić?

if he wants to stay in the LA area. Lakers are his best hope. If his goal is more money, Nets.

Martin isn't the type of personality that would accept being the fifth big man on the roster. He'll hurt team chemistry with his pouting if he doesn't get off the bench. Not what teams are looking for.
