Probably the most competitive tourney in the nation is the Nike Peach Jam & Andrew Wiggins absolutely DOMINATED it......Sign me up in a couple years :)

Eyenga had some good Summer League games in Vegas. Wonder if they made an impression on Henny while he was there.

It's no surprise though considering that Harvey tends to write crap articles like this on most occasions.

Is he like the BS and Ping of SA?

Pretty much. If Mike Monroe wrote this, then I would have taken this serious as he is one of the best sports writers for the San Antonio Express. Buck Harvey is ass and will normally write crap when it doesn't fully benefit the Spurs.

Anyone want to defend this trade now that we know what Houston was likely offering?

Assuming ticket prices drop dramatically Amway should be significantly louder because only real fans are showing up to games now.

Dear Jason Richardson,

I have a confession to make. I was not loyal to you. Nor was I all that supportive of you. In fact, I kind of loathed your declining game. But hey, you're a classy guy, so I wish you well.

Sincerely,

11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I couldn't care less about ticket sales and the Amway, I'm worried about my 2k13 roster. I play with the Magic and only the Magic. I'm going to have to get some more skills if I"m going to have a respectable record next season. Gotta get it early and figure out the new two stick dribbling controls.

I remember someone on here saying J-Rich twitter DM'd him, it said something like "Magic fans are fair-weather fans and they should stop complaining (about his below average game)"

Soooo yeah I'm going to have to agree with you on the bold part.

He's by far the next guy in line. I hope we suck enough in 2 years to get him.

I would just roll with this starting lineup and get a top five pick this year, while having fun watching young guys play.

I think I'm on the Zeller bandwagon...Tom Crean said he is a monster now and has actually grown a bit...they had a little article on RealGm about his improvements. Plus I feel like I can actually root for the kid.

I wouldn't be mad at getting Shabazz either but I need to see how he performs in college. Noel seems like he already has that superstar attitude, no thanks.

However the one I do covet the most is Wiggins. That kid has the next badass written all over him. If we could get Zeller and Wiggins in back to back years i'll be over the moon.

Kinda of excited in a way for our new moves. I know it's going suck being bad for a few years, but it excites me for the draft when we have high picks. Believe me we will be better off tanking then being in the middle of the pack with Bynum. Being in the middle of the NBA is worse then being at the end, at least at the end you have the light of the draft. We could possibly have 2 lottery picks in 2 consecutive years, with trades and luck.
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

Yeah they wouldn't take JRich etc, but some would have eventually. Seriously. How could you ship Howard to LA and NOT get Bynum in the deal? Worst trade ever. I'm not one hoping players get hurt, but I sincerely hope Howard's back never fully heals.

You don't even know what the Houston deal was. If it was better Rob would have taken it.

Did you ever consider that maybe the deal with Houston was better earlier and Houston lowered their offer because of Howards statements and antics? I still think getting a couple of Houston's rookies and Totonto's draft pick and another lottery pick was still better than this deal. Even WiTHOUT cap relief. And it is pretty certain Houston would have given that. Apparently they would not give the entire package. But everything else except cap relief is still better then this garbage. And I am sure most of you have seen this but here is some info about the "boy wonder" whom some of you still trust in. And I have no reason not to believe it's true after the Nelson signing and this latest catastrophe perpetrated by these incompetent boobs. I have no reason to doubt the story below.

Rob Hennigan spent four years with the Spurs, beginning as an intern and working his way up to become the team's director of basketball operations.
Hennigan left the Spurs to join Sam Presti in Oklahoma City, where he spent two seasons as the Thunder’s assistant general manager/player personnel.
"Hennigan didn’t have the same stature in San Antonio," writes Buck Harvey. "When he left to join Presti, the Spurs thought he probably needed to get out and try something else."
Presti's top assistant was Troy Weaver, who reportedly didn't interview as well with the Magic as Hennigan.

Looks like the Magic have been conned yet again. A lot of you guys really respect the Spurs and their organization (and I do, too). It sounds like they were ready to fire Hennigan and send him off to be a used car salesman when he decided to leave and go to OKC. I guess if you interview well with the Magic, that's all it takes to land an important job. And obviously a good interview does not guarantee good results!
THAT'LL BE THE DAY!

That Hennigan story is pretty disheartening TBO. I know the guy is trying to get attention and all, but it still registers in my head now when I think about what we might have gotten ourselves into.

LOL Rob Hennigan, Jacque Vaughn, and a team of scrubs. It really feels like old times for Magic fans.

Fire Sam Presti. He hired the bumbling more that is Rob Hennigan. He clearly has no judgement or basketball knowledge.
