Watching that video makes me look forward to the day when Dwight forces Kobe out of LA.

Re: Andrew Bynum's Health (MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY)
Andrew's health is good. You guys are getting one of my favorite players of all time on the Lakers. Loved having Drew and was happy with either him or Howard.
His health mentally is fine. He just wants to expand his game and be one of the main players on a team. I think a lot of his frustration this season was directly clearly at Mike Brown. He never really had any "issues" until this season.
And I think a lot of his "mental issues" are just clearly overrated. Parking in a handicapped spot? I could think of a lot of worse things 24 year olds could do. Hanging out at the playboy mansion? How many of us would love to do that? He doesn't hang out with gangs, he doesn't carry guns, he's not a thug or something. He's a good, quiet kid that comes from a pretty good family. He's not going to have any of those types of off the court issues.
Physically? Go back and look at every one of his major injuries. Absolute fluke plays that could happen to anybody. If you're jumping and you land on someones foot and turn your ankle.. that's generally bad news. If a 6'6", 220 pound player like Kobe Bryant comes driving into the lane full force and falls against the front of your leg? That's generally bad news too. Those injuries could have happened to anybody but Drew was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. People also say he's a wuss, etc.. Which is an absolute crock of s**t. The guy busted his ass in the 2010 playoffs with a serious knee injury and had to have fluid drained from his knee every game. He could have packed it up and had surgery, but he never. Played his ass off and played an integral role to the Lakers winning the Championship.
He's been wearing a brace on both of his knees and hasn't had an injury since coming back from that injury in the playoffs in 2010.
Good luck guys. I'm a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan and I'll be following a lot more 76ers now.

I don't follow the Sixers that much, but as a Knick fan living in LA I have serious reservations about Bynum. He challenged Mike Brown subtlely while with the Lakers and Brown didn't appear strong enough to handle him. With the power the Sixers are giving him, is Collins tough enough to handle the inevitable authority challenge that Bynum will give him?
This kid is immature and is not ready for leadership.

we don't need Bynum to be a leader. we just need him to punk the East.

You guys need some veteran leadership to check the young bul, which you gave away, he's got too much power and leverage with his FA status coming up, y'all will see how he acts too...
I'm not here to hate, just raising questions. It is what is.

Jrue was taking the lead last year, and that will continue. Bynum is a new/better presence, but it isn't his team yet. If they become a dynamic duo, we'll have a great run in the next 5+ years.

Doug doesn't kiss ass like Mike Brown. If Bynum is challenging him, i don't think he'll avoid the situation like Brown.

I'm not worried about his 'maturity'. For the posters beyond that age, how mature were any of us at 24? i was an idiot until 30 (and its arguable in some circles whether I still am or not, 30 years later). Philly loves you if you work hard, and that's about all he has to do. The rest will come. His mouth's got a long way to go to top AI and Charles. If his knee goes, it's not a good thing but it's cap room. You can't steal 2nd base without taking your foot off of 1st. It's a good risk to take IMO.

Re: Andrew Bynum's Health (MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY)
Greetings Philly fans. First congradulations on your trade for Andrew Bynum, but I do have to ask why give up your best player Iggy, for a guy, whom if you look up the word nutcase, his picture, along with Ron Artest (Metta World Peace) would be next to it.
Philly brass must have a lot of confidence to give up Iggy withno guarantee that Bynum will re-sign. Well at least Jason Richardson is nice consolation prize. Personally I would have given up Evan Turner. I mean you would expect more from a #2overall pick than 11.2ppg.
Anyway, good day to all in the city of Brotherly Love, from the Mecca of Sports and Media.

it was never an issue with bynum since afterall ts kobe. then one game, bynum has a subpar game where his effort wasn't there, and brown called him out for it, even though he had been letting kobe slide all yr. that incident marked the moment that bynum started acting like a dick, basically giving "i don't give a %$$%" attitude. phil had played mind games with drew his entire career, but he wasn't about to let mike brown off.
i think bynum will be just fine mentally as long as he's treated as the leader of the team.
Cut it out and to answer the question Bynum knees are fine.
Cut what out? The truth? Because that's exactly what happened. Yes Andrew's knees should be fine. This is his 3rd year he'll be injury free.

I hate to say this but it would be pretty awful to have a leader who plays soft on the court. Anyway, I can see ET or Bynum be the leader of this team. Knowing DC, he won't hand it out to Bynum instantly, he has to work hard for it. Bynum's got a lot of play-off and championship experience. And it would be really awkward not to have the best player on the team who WANTS to be the leader to not be given the opportunity.
Plus, he could demand a trade if it's not given to him.
Bynum is far from soft. You can forget that one. His maturity is what's lacking

I was refering to Badwolf's post of Hawes as a leader of this team.

You guys know have the master and the pupil back together

For real take care of Bynum for us. Make sure he gets his handicap parking spot and show him to a philly cheese steak.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

+1
Philly fans love players who wear their emotions on their sleeves and gave it their all. Iguodala problem was that he did not show his passion (which he had). For all his weaknesses this town would have loved him of he had shown his fire more outwardly.
They will love bynum exactly because he's fiery.
