Well, generally Miami would lose games against Orlando when they got hot from 3, they tended to win the games where Dwight went off but the shooters weren't hitting. I think if LA wants to beat Miami the 3-point shot will have to be a part of that, meaning no Artest (or less of him than they might normally play).

People that call us cheaters are just butt-hurt, we can't stoop down to their level.

This is it. You can't cry or laugh about the hate we received and then complain about the Lakers just taking advantage of an opportunity other teams had as well. I still believe Brooklyn was Howard's first choice, their management just wasn't capable of assembling the necessary pieces to convince Orlando of a trade. Good business men and management is as important as having good scouts to your team's success. Just be thankful for the fact that we have great business people in our organization instead of being jealous of what other teams have.

+1

and also to add to that, Howard always gets in foul trouble by James/Wade And Bosh.

I'm not sure what statical data your going by but he avg 2.25 person fouls vs Miami. Lebron avg 18ppg 39% or 40% vs Howard last season. Thats better than the 28ppg on 45%fg he avg vs the Lakers. Bottomline our teams (heat & Lakers) are going to awesome to watch next season. I would say the next two seasons but it seems NBA power shifts happen too often these days. Both teams have their advantages. Miami's 1)Lebron James 2) Ray Allen and Miller off the bench. (lewis is trash)
Lakers 1)Howard @ Center 2)Nash @ Point Guard 3)Rebounding.

Wouldn't even matter. We won the Finals by proving our versatilities. Dwight is foul prone; and you're having Lebron and Wade driving. It'll be competitive and exactly what some other poster posted. We have a 3x MVP.

He may be more polished offensively, but that does not necessarily mean that he's the better offensive player.

lol@the crying going on here. Breaking the rules by planning this long before free agency when your not allowed to even speak to another teams player about potentially joining let's not play too dumb here. btw good cover up by Lebron saying he made his mind up the day of the awful decision

The Heat started dumping cap in 2008 for the big free agency class of 2010. Heat rolled some serious dice unloading for the 2010 FA, which everyone knows was highly coveted, and we weren't the only team that unloaded for it. We could've came up with **** and been the laughing stocks of the league again, but we were lucky to have the space, a great GM/staff, and the fact that's it miami didn't hurt either (haters feelin' real salty about that point, sorry guise).

I'd like to point out that Riley started the whole "dump cap for 2010" trend. Everyone else saw the idea and hopped on his dick. But collusion? GTFOH. I think everyone and their mother knows how hard LeBron was busting his ass in Cleveland, made it to the ECF even. To even consider that someone was "conspiring" to move to another city YEARS later while sacrificing mind and body in the process is absolutely preposterous.

Why am I even wasting time explaining this? Dude's either trolling or mentally challenged to speak such blasphemy.

It would make the Lakers a legendary franchise that knows how to build championship contenders.

There's nothing more to it than that. Anyone that feels the need to hate on Miami or LA for their successful business deals needs to grow up and get over themselves.

It's kind of funny seeing Heat fans complain about the Lakers getting players on the cheap.

What exactly did the Heat give up for Shaq? Caron Butler, Lamar Odom and a washed up PF named Brian Grant.

Scintillating!!! At least Odom helped the Lakers get to the NBA finals 3 times winning twice.

Good trades/bad trades happen all the time. Don't get mad at the Lakers for making better trades for themselves than most other teams. And while you're at it you might want to at least put a little bit of the blame on the system itself. Players like playing in LA. Can you blame them? The weather is nice. Hollywood is here etc...

And fwiw I'm not here to troll. You guys have a great team, LeBron is an absolute Monster, and with the moves the Lakers have made this offseason I feel we have a strong team also. Hopefully we'll both be healthy when the playoffs begin and get to match up in the finals. It would be an epic Clash of the Titans!!! One all fans would be privileged to witness. :)
Sometimes being wrong is awesome!!! :D

Shaq wasn't 26 when Miami acquired him. like you said Odom was a key piece to 2 Lakers championships. Butler has also had a solid career. Lakers at the time made the big mistake of trading him for Brown.
