If he continues to play at the level he has been playing, i don't see why not. Plus I see him winning another ring for us.

it would take two more at a high level, in my opinion...although i am a huge pau supporter, i think it would take that much to bring all the doubters around....

It's dependent on Pau making the hall of fame.

If me makes the hall, he's more or less a lock to have his jersey retired IMO.
If he doesn't make it, he won't have it retired (just like Gail Goodrich didn't get his jersey retired until he made the hall of fame many years after his retirement).

There is almost no scenario Pau doesn't make the hall of fame

Some major scandal would have to come out, like he placed money on games or intentionally played poorly to lose games for his bets.

Pau is a lock in the HOF. Maybe not NBA, but international yes.
I think every Lakers jersey retired is in the HOF so that would make sense for Pau.

i think if he keeps playing at least 3+ years of more real good basketball he could have his # retired.

He'll eventually be traded for Kobe's replacement.

No, Mitch will probably trade two second rounders for superstar.

I sure hope that Pau will get a few seasons without any trade threats now, so he can concentrate on his smart, world class play. It would be a bloody shame if he didn't get his LAKERS' jersey retired!

1. he's getting into the HOF so lets put that to rest.

2. if he wins 1 more ring and plays out the next 2-3 years in LA, his jersey is being retired
