And try to remember that the Sixers and Nuggets were only there to facilitate. As soon as they don't get a home run, they step away from the table.

I Denver offered Afflalo and Harrington for Iggy to Philly they would have laughed in their faces. And you all know it.

Exactly. Hennigan is worse than Otis. He couldn't even get decent youth out of it instead got an aging vet and a Shooting guard ranked 27th in the league. Wow.

I'm still just a pissed off as you are but what Hennigan really chose over Bynum and Iggy was a shot at a top 5 pick. Maybe even multiple top 5 picks (over the next few years). I am hoping we come out of this with Kasey Hill (freshman pg for the Gators) and Andrew Wiggins the following year (sf still in HS). Add big men like Kevin love and Andrew Bogut (2014) and we look like this in two years (if all goes according to plan):

Hill
Afflalo
Wiggins
Love
Bogut

Great defensively and offensively. I can only hope that is Rob's plan.

Yes lets ignore Harkless and Vucevic, two very talented young players.

With the right draft decisions and free agent signings, Orlando’s rebuilding process could be rather short. Hennigan received criticism for the Howard trade, but it’s his next moves that will determine whether the Magic made the right decision and what their future holds. He has given himself the picks and money to rebuild the team into a contender. Now, Hennigan must turn his vision into reality.

look, I'm trying to stay optimistic, but please stop combining Harkless and Vucevic's names and "very talented" like they were top 5 picks.

Something has to change here or history will continue to repeat itself.

Don't worry. Magic will never get that lucky again. We had our chance. Now, we can settle on being the next Milwaukee or Warriors. The Magic should just give away seats to people who buy (3) day passes to Disney World when they visit town as a side attraction.

BMP, it was one thing when you pointed out legitimate flaws about the trade. But now your rants are just becoming baseless garbage.

This talk about luck is just people's attempt to take away any positive credit from the Magic. And I don't mean to say that luck isn't a factor. It is. But to act like it's something you can predict is silly. As if our past luck has any bearing on whether we get lucky in the future? So if I'm playing a game of roulette, and I hit 2 times in a row, does that mean that the next time I put my chip on a single number, that that lone attempt has a less chance than if I lost the previous two tries?

We have been fortunate as Magic fans. Absolutely. The Magic have been fortunate as an organization. Take away that luck and we could very well be stuck as bottom-dwellers, like the Bucks and Warriors. But the fact of the matter is, the Magic haven't. So why are you talking as if the Magic have been stuck like those teams? Buck the **** up man.

Wasn't Otis set on getting Brook Lopez and Gerald Wallace, and that's it last year? Honest question because I remember reading that he was ready to do it and that it got as high as the DeVos' and they had to kill the trade.

Harkless has very good potential like a Paul George trevor ariza area.
Vucevic can be a very solid Bigman wether is be center or Power forward. in a Crowded Front court he got 15 mins and played pretty good for a rookie

Sure there is a bigger picture that we don't see yet, and Rob has a vision, that he wants in place, i'm going to see what he does with it within the next 3 years. i'm willing to wait to see if it pans out or not.

Notice that the Amway Center in Harkless's background has a picture of Pietrus #20 on a panel?

Hadn't seen this here yet, sorry if it has been covered:

Nothing says "precautionary" like jetting 4,000 miles across Earth for a procedure not available in the United States.

This guy still going. He is on my foe list so I can't see his post normally but does he realize how pathetic he sounds. He is clearly just bitter about how wrong he was and trying to cover his tracks. It is somewhat funny though. Pretty typical for someone to go on and on about how right they are and when they are so dead wrong, they just get angry. Its like when someone gets in a heated argument and ends up being wrong they try to cover their tracks. Just admit it dude, you were so wrong about everything.
