The rest of your post didn't seem to address why only one of them being able to score at a time was an issue.
You mentioned that DJ could possibly give Howard problems, but that isn't related to only one of them being able to score at a time, just the Clippers being able to defend one of their guys better. Perkins giving him problems is overrated though, and that was as a first option go to guy. Now he's playing with an elite PG, a SG that draws attention, and one of the best lob and high low passing bigs in the league. Containing him is no longer the defenses primary focus, so it will be easier for him. Chandler on the other hand, he's great at defending him and literally shuts him down, not one of those fake shut downs.
The advantage is that they have 3 really efficient scorers plus Kobe, but the bigger advantage is that Dwight is a DPOY level defensive anchor. I'm just not following how only one person scoring is an issue for them or any team really. The whole advantage is when each person that scores does so efficiently and even more so, with volume, then your team is efficient offensively.
Now I do believe the Clips can beat them in a game, they aren't unbeatable. With a healthy Howard for the whole season, unless DJ becomes a DPOY level guy, the Clippers defense doesn't project to be good enough to have a better record though. The thing is that Howard won't be healthy for the beginning of the season, so we'll see how that plays into things.
no i didn't...u took it that way....and u don't have to take it that way
It goes for every team in the NBA and it is that simplistic...it's not negative...it's just a fact. It just means that no matter how many superstars they have in their starting line up they have to come down and execute good offense like the rest of top tier teams. It's a competitor's way of putting the onus on another team....a "oh ur the best? well prove it" type attitude.
our job? defending their attempts at executing...hence the rest of the post talking DJ's improvement.
i refuse to discuss this further
