Re: What's Fisher doing?
Sad thing is, he's going to end-up with a veteran's minimum deal if he wants to continue to play. Cleveland was said to have interest, it really depends what he wants to do. I only see a few teams that need a back-up PG right now and none of them are contenders. You have Cleveland, Orlando and maybe Philly could be considered a contender but is Royel Ivey better than him? Memphis may have an interest or Dallas if they want more depth and veteran leadership, I think San Antonio would be a great fit but no one wants to give him a chance right now. I'm sure D-Fish will find a team but he's not going to get anything higher than the vet. minimum if he's looking to play.

Why doesn't he stay with OKC? Scott Brooks was giving him 24 mpg, so they obviously like him

OKC is probably expecting Eric Maynor to return eventually, which would cut Fisher's minutes.

I think his agent should find him a team willing to let him transition into an assistant coach.

Re: What's Fisher doing?
Fisher was done after the 2010 season. Its time for LA fans to let him go. The man is beyond horrible outside of the occasional wide open 3. He shot under 40 percent FG and 32 percent from 3...what else can he offer the Lakers?

Re: What's Fisher doing?
He can offer us leadership, championship pedigree and clutch (when Kobe is multiple-teamed and Nash is probably inbounder).

Re: What's Fisher doing?
He's been as un-clutch (perhaps even more) as he has been clutch and that leadership championship "pedigree" is hogwash with him. He's been riding off the backs of Kobe pau and odom the last two championships. The concept of leadership in the locker room is highly overrated. These are all grown professionals.

None of that means anything when you cant play. This isnt a video game where you get ratings boost for certain attributes. Fisher isnt going to help LA do anything better at this point.

Re: What's Fisher doing?
People need to stop being so enamored by his 'clutch' perception. If he made some FGs earlier in games, there would be no need for his last second heroics.
C'mon, you apes! You wanna live forever?
