youd take mcroberts (a second round pick that hasnt done much) for a first round pick? who wouldnt? lol

also that makes no sense. dumping all those players (as well as a similar player in JJ) for gordon and another 1st?

Another way to use the TPE is to help teams get under the tax by renting out our cap space for draft picks. Seattle did this a few times and got multiple picks from Phoenix.

Exactly what I said and probably our best bet of using it to get assets in return. Though helping other teams make deals can get you stuff from the other 2 clubs, but that doesn't happen often.

i wouldnt be trading the Picks we got from those player deals there. i would be using the Picks we got in the Dwight trade.

ur really gonna complain about trading 3 Non Lottery 1st round picks for Ben Gordon and a likley top 5 pick

i would be signing Young Free agent Players who have upside for short term deals with High Incentives.

as for Mcroberts when he actually got playing time back in 2011 with the Pacers he averaged a nice 7.4 points 5.3 boards 2.1 assists .7 steals and .8 blocks. that is worth atleast a late first cuz Most Late First round picks are role Players and McRoberts can be a solid Role Player. i think a contending time like the Heat would take him for a late 1st because well hes an Improvement over howard.

McRoberts almost got Mayo...twice.

Underrated player. Good role guy. Just too stacked at that position or else I'd keep him to play a Collison like role.

We can do with the tpe what Cleveland did with baron Davis and a first round pick, that turned into kyrie irving. The flexibility is huge for us maybe grabbing biedrins and a 1st for the tpe or some similar type deal

I like that idea but we are talking Jordan here, plus they just traded for him, although at the deadline if they are in last place we are still talking cheapskate Jordan and he may want to dump salary 8-)

Byron Davis and the first rounder was not part of a TPE trade, He was traded with the first round pick for Jamario Moon and Mo Williams, no TPE was used in that trade

we're going to need to package a few players in a trade (or cut a few). No one on this roster deserves to get cut, so I'm guessing a trade will be made before the summer is over (unless Rob doesn't like Harper and Liggins).

Watching the Rays lose tonight reminds me how casual NBA fans must feel. I couldn't help but think that Felix deserves better. If he was a Yankee right now, that game might actually gave meant something, but instead we have to watch him rot away in Seattle. I see why most fans root for the best players to go to teams they recognize.

I think there's no rush or pressure anymore. It's probably better to get advanced stats on in-season teams' projected records in trading for picks and what players may start becoming more available, and these kinds of deals usually present from the other way around or at draft time.
I just want to see Liggins re-signed and 1-2 trades/cuts/d-league'ing for the #3 PG and Liggins' spots.

The problem with trades like that, though, is that those teams don't have to trade away those big contracts anymore. They can simply amnesty them.

But if teams like Golden State and Charlotte have already used their amnesties, my apologies. I think the Warriors already used theirs, not really sure about the Bobcats.

Evan Dunlap @BQRMagic
Uni numbers for Magic newcomers: Afflalo 4, Ayón 19, Harkless 21, Harrington 3, McRoberts 17, Nicholson 44, O'Quinn 2, Vučević 9.

Per the Magic's @GalantePR, Christian Eyenga has chosen no. 8. Complete list of uni nos. for newcomers in this tweet: https://t.co/1hSdsT2r

Vučević is a jerk. Stealing Kyle O'Quinn's number and forcing him to take #2.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)
