OT: My first NBA mix: Jeremy Lin - Identity

Hey guys.

Just finished my summer project and wanted to share it with my favorite board.

This is not really the traditional basketball mix, but more of a hybrid. Half-motivational, half-highlights. It's based on what really inspired me the most about Lin--his perseverance and unwillingness to give up no matter how many times he got knocked down and was told he wasn't good enough at basketball. This video goes through his inspirational season with the '11-'12 Knicks, culminating with "the shot" that officially sparked Linsanity. Reasons for posting it in this board:
1) I love you guys and respect all ya'll opinions
2) Just because Lin isn't a part of this team anymore doesn't mean we can't truly appreciate what he brought to our franchise and fanbase over the past 1+ years.

You're probably not going to get very many responses because to some people on here, support for Lin means your anti-Knicks/anti-Melo.

Nice vid though, I know these take time to put together.

Wow, great work on the video.

Let's be honest, guys. We f*cked up badly. We can trash Lin as much as we want because he's not a Knick anymore, but it's a defense mechanism. He was supposed to be part of something special in New York, not Houston.

Very nice work.. Love the Rocky monologue... Sly had some good underrated writing moments in the Rocky flics.

Some of the early workout videos were from Lin's youtube account, I know that much.

Yes, audio was from mostly from Rocky and Coach Carter. Browsed through some Ray Lewis and found great pieces. Most of the clips were just found from those "Jeremy Lin full game highlights" floating around on YouTube. I then edited the contrast/brightness in order to give it a better feel.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro! Thanks for the love, this is my first vid and it did take quite a bit of time so really appreciate the feedback.

And shoutout to Pavvy8! Not sure if he still browses these boards but he is an inspiration to me with his vids, you should check out his clips. "Knicks a Season to Remember" was done really well, it's a summary of the '11-'12 season.
