I think we're going to be in the mess that normally develops around the outer edge of the eastern conference playoff race, somewhere around 5-8 games out of 8th place heading into the AS break. Hopefully we get rid of our vets at that point and go into tank mode playing the rookies a lot from there to the end of the season.

I'd expect around the trade deadline we take on an additional draft pick and a bad contract as facilitators in a large 3 or 4 way trade initiated by other teams.

I hope we don't lose Liggins, but as of now we already have to let 1 person go with the signing of Ish. We give Liggins a contract that's 2 ppl that have to either be cut or packaged in a deal.

My guess would be JJ & AL would be gone before the season starts. I would prefer Q/Hedo, but that's not gonna happen.

If you take away JJ/AL from the bench I would feel much better about our chances at tanking haha. Those 2 are very good at coming off the bench.

How funny would it be if this team took on a denver nuggets path after the melo trade. No one thought they would be very good and predicted a lottery team and they went out won 55%-60% of their games without a true go-to guy or franchise player

Check out my friends official trailer for his first full length and it is a Horror movie they are working on. Room 236 is the name and some friends are making cameos. Anyways, my boy Armin is the director. He has done many music videos and movie shorts. They should rap up filming sometime in the next 60 days as they are taking a break while waiting funds to finish up. First movie with official actors. All Orlando also representing Longwood.

God i really hope Moe isnt coming off the bench by the end of the season, not sure i can go through another season of Hedo as a starter, although if we are tanking, there is no one better for the cause than him

I agree. We need to get rid of more of our old core to continue with the rebuild properly. Unless, we plan on using that 17 mil to net us a superstar like Harden?

Meer
Afflalo

Vucevic

IMO is MUCH better than

Meer
JRich
Hedo
Ryno
BBD

With JJ, Duhon, Q, Earl, Orton, & Wafer coming off the bench.

I give the guys credit for playing hard in the playoffs but that team minus Dwight would have been well off the 8th seed in the east. I think we went 5-13 without Dwight (not sure if that is accurate or not) which would be a .277 winning percentage. Over a 82 game season what would equal to about 22-23 wins.

If we only like one guy, then we still have a major trade asset.

Ditto, draft C Nerlens Noel and PG Ian Miller. Our future and core starting 5,

PG Ian Miller = Russell Westbrook
SG Aaron Afflalo = Raja Bell
SF Moe Harkless = Paul George
PF Andrew Nicholson = More physical version of Ryan Anderson
C Nerlens Noel = Marcus Camby

And the team should still suck enough the year after for another lottery pick.

Please point out to me where I said that would be the 2013 starting lineup. At the earliest 2014, likely 2015. You're telling me you wouldn't take that lineup in 2-3 years? By then Miller, Harkless, Nicholson and Noel would all have 2+ years in the league.

I think we played around .500 ball without Dwight, in a tough ending schedule too. My personal objective is to get a top 1-5 pick regardless if the draft is weak or not, there is always a great rotational piece at the very least in every draft's 1-5. Noels looks like Marcus Camby 2.0, sounds awesome for our needs. Shabazz at SG sounds even better.

Seeing something else instead is ok though, since we can't fault the team if they naturally compete very hard and Hennigan is not finding rebuilding blocks in trades easily yet.., that is if we are playing .510 season ball and winning the big contenders games with a better than .500 record against them, as well as playoff seeding into a nice projected matchup(s), throughout the first quarter/third of the season. We'd have a Denver-like team, but with Houston-like planning for the future, not now.

nice try bud but expandable means tradeable in this context

i mean we would have talent on the wing with Harkless and wiggins.

I'm bored with hearing any more about Dwight. Dwight's the past. I'm ready for the future - Harkless, Afflalo, Vucevic.
