Im shocked a fan of a team that has been using 3 man front court rotations for the passed 5 seasons is asking such a question. You just stagger the substitutions like we've always done.

Hill/Pau
Jamison/Pau
Jamison/Hill

The main reason we want Hill starting is so Jamison can get comfortable in his role as our firepower off the bench. Same thing last season when Brown started Ebanks over Barnes when Metta was out, to keep Barnes comfortable with his 6th man role.

So one of Pau or Hill will have to be on the floor every single minute of every single game? Sounds like a plan.

It worked just fine for 5 years, no reason to all the sudden start worrying now. It's also only until Howard returns.

Start Pau at the PF, and start Jordan Hill at the center. We dont want to burn Pau out at the beginning of the season like we have done in the previous 2 seasons. Hill is still young and can play all 48 if needed, I dont want Pau exceeding 40 mins any time this season in a game unless the game goes into overtime

So we've had Hill for 5 years? Good to know.

1) Start Hill. We paid to keep him because of how he stepped up in the playoffs, a time where many young players are unable to hit that next gear, Hill did. He showed why he was probably a lottery pick and I think he's earned his right to step in as starter with Dwight out. He's battled in the playoffs next to Kobe and Pau, had some real good moments with that line-up. Some new guy shouldn't take the spot unless he's clearly better, which isn't the case here. Hill should be starting and I think he could handle 20-25 mins per game. He'll make mistakes sure, but that those mins will pay major dividends late in the season and the playoffs especially, which is all that matters on this board right?

2) Don't see the obsession over Clark. He may be worth developing but who knows, we shouldnt be experimenting with starter mins. Although he'll definitely be seeing mins with Dwight out, probably 7-15/game easy.

3) Partially agree with Ankle and Deep. I would DEFINITELY preferred to start the season healthy, however Deep brought up a great point about Dwight possibly not being available should we have waited till the deadline and someone, i think gek, mentioned Bynum may get hurt again, who knows. At the end we can all agree we prefer Dwight over Bynum and I think the 3 of us and some others can also agree that we care about the name on the front over the one on the back as Ankle put so well.

4) Hill is no Odom and that's ok, it's only for a bit. I doubt Dwight is out until December. I think early November at most, i'm just talking out of my rear though. Hill just needs mins, he's shown at the highest stages of the game that he can produce when it means most, he's earned his right to start in my book. Hell I'll start him over Pau.... i kid i kid
2014: Randle / Clarkson
2015: Russell / Nance
2016: Ingram / Zubac
2017: Top 3 Pick? Fultz, Ball or Bust

Hopefully Hill starts at C, that way we still have AJ coming off the bench.
