Actually, weren't the Bulls the team that signed Redick to the offer sheet when he was an RFA? Considering he only got better since then, I bet they're still interested in him.

Just imagine having a front court of

7-1+ Isiah Austin (more i think about it, i dont think we will have top 3 pick for Noel, plus like austin better), 6'10 Andrew Nicholson, 6'10 Moe Harkless

8-)

Eh... Austin is 7'1" but he's also 200 lb. and looks like the softest big man I've ever seen. I'll pass. I'm actually not interested in the big men this year. I hope we get Shabazz.

Apparently hes up to 215, and should get even bigger with a year of college level weight training, and thats still bigger than projected #1 pick Cody Zeller or the other top center Noel

I dont get it, everyone wanted DMo from the rockets, hes 7'1 215 and is a soft big man, why not austin?

Was thinking that too, but the whole reason they would trade/give up a 1st is to get under the tax, JJ wouldnt help them with that as he makes about as much as Rip and JJ combined

Some of those fans are proposing some interesting deals on the Bulls forum. We take Rip, who has only $1 mill guaranteed next season, and their pick from the Bobcats for the TPE? The Bobcats pick is bound to be pretty high, I assume.

He's really matured into a great leader and a solid veteran player.

Definitely saying all the right things. This guy isn't going anywhere. He's the vocal leader of our team.

Yeah it's getting overlooked IMO. People need stfu about the gd trade already, they sound like prepubescent girls.

Charlotte's own 2013 1st round draft pick to Chicago (top-12 protected in the 2013 Draft, top-10 protected in 2014, top-8 protected in 2015 and unprotected in the 2016 Draft.) [Charlotte - Chicago, 2/18/2010]

Unfortunately that pick is going to be a waiting game.

Welp
Rob Murphy will remain as head coach of Eastern Michigan, passing up an opportunity to join the Orlando Magic.

“We are certainly pleased with Coach Murphy's decision to continue to lead our men's basketball program into the future,” EMU AD Derrick Gragg said. "We look forward to an exciting basketball season that continues the momentum we captured this past year.”

"I would like to end the speculation about my leaving Eastern Michigan University," said Murphy.

"It is true that I had an opportunity to join the Orlando Magic," Murphy said. "Representatives of the Magic were both professional in their approach and respectful of our situation at EMU. I am very appreciative of the opportunity to have spoken with them and would like to publicly thank them for their professionalism and interest. They have a great franchise with a tremendous staff in place, and I wish them nothing but the best."

Yep, unfortunately. However, their own pick this year could be pretty high.

Somewhat off topic here, but anyone think OKC will be really happy they have Kendrick Perkins now? Nobody has guarded Dwight better the last several years from both a mental and physical standpoint. That matchup may keep LA from just passing thru OKC in the playoffs/WCF.

dumb question, maybe, but can the TPE be used on numerous trades or is it a one time use? Like could we trade part of it to CHI for say RIP and a pick and then absorb another player or two with whats left of the TPE?
