Agreed but hopefully Jordan Hill will be good enough to get some run in there also.

The Lakers don't have any stars coming off the bench but it's much much deeper this year than it was last year. Meeks and Jamison are huge upgrades and J-Hill should be more productive with a full training camp.

Question about J-Hill... He wore a huge knee brace during games last year. Does anybody know if he's going to need that again this year?

Food for thought! Start Meeks and bring Kobe in off the bench! I know it will never happen but damn it would be so sick! Instead of giving up leads with scrubs out there we'd often be extending them! Sweep the leg! No mercy!!! Lol

Fwiw the only reason I jokingly mention bringing Kobe in off the bench is because we all know how when he's out on the court he likes to do his thing, ie shoot a lot, and coming in off the bench would allow him to gun away without risk of pissing off teammates. It would also serve to reduce his minutes! Win win win win imho! (was just a thought don't ip ban me please) :)
Sometimes being wrong is awesome!!! :D

Meeks might get some minutes behind Nash if the team commits to that offensive scheme and can play zone defense on occasions.

Nash 32/Duhon 16
Bryant 36/Meeks 12
Artest 32/Jamison 8/Ebanks 8
Gasol 36/Jamison 12
Howard 38/Hill 10

Sounds right but earl Clark should get some min

There is no reason why Kobe should play more than 32 minutes per game with this team

nash
dwight
gasol and kobe

this way we maximise the time nash and dwight are working against benches

I think I would prefer Nash and Gasol

and either have Kobe/Nash in the game
or Dwight/Gasol in all the time, hehe at least thats how I would do playing NBA2k :)
