Lorenzo Brown > Ian Miller

Zo is a 6 foot 5 PG who is a very good scorer, but also a great passer. He was a HUGE reason that NC State made it to the Sweet 16 last season.

He will be a junior this year. Keep your eyes open for him. :)

Not impressive after we have 6-11 Howard, 6-10 Lewis, 6-10 Hedo

he compares to camby and Johnathan Bender as well as Chandler.

all Austin can really do at this point is Shotblock and shoot jumpers

I mean I can see it because they all are tall skinny guys who when younger could hit the jumper, although Bender is the best out of that group.

Isaiah is really a interesting player because for his size and age his handles are above average along with his jumper. Austin isn't a great man to man defender but his is a great weakside shot blocker and does have really good quickness and lateral movement. He doesn't have a great post game or refined but he does have a good hook move and does have a good turn around jumper.

I will say this Isaiah is a power forward and not a center nor do I see him being able to put on much more weight then he already has. I think at the max he will be 220-230 and that is pushing it but he is a really interesting player for his size and what he brings.

im pretty sure Kabongo is More Highely Rated than Miller and hes a PG.

Lottery choices: F McAdoo from UNC, G/F Thomas from Memphis, C Adams from Pittsburgh, G Goodwin(dont know wat school), F Mitchell from North Texas.

Mid round guys: C Smith from UCLA, F Saric(international), G Abrines(international), PG Burke from Michigan, PG Kabongo from Texas.

Those two are our top 2 options at PG in next years draft.

BBD is going to be such a huge asset into the season. He's going to have a very nice stat line, and his defense and hustle will be apparent fits anywhere. This is why I never wanted him in a Dwight trade, he can get more by himself if we sell high and if we want to actually do it.

Zo Brown & Trey Burke > Ian Miller & Myck Kabongo

However I think all 4 will be solid in the NBA.

Guys to keep an eye on going forward good looks....but in regards to Ian Miller i like him because people tell me he's like the Next Russel Westbrook or similar to him....To me it seems like PG's in the NBA are turning into that type of PG....The Westbrooks, Wall's and Rose's of the league......Athletic quick/speedy type PG's why not take a shot at him if we can get him?

yes but hes not even in the top 30 prospects of this class.
id rather have ur Chris Paul Pass first PG than ur Westbrook Ball Hogger. i want a guy who can score himself but is Unselfish and will pass if he doesnt have a good shot.
Kabongo is like rondo.

an interesting guy i found is PG/SG CJ Mccolum from Lehigh. dude schooled Duke last year in the Tourney with 30 points 6 board and 6 assists.

Cannan from Murray State is Jameer nelson.

Yup he did just have surgery, but NC State was overseas in Spain last week for a 5 game roadtrip there & he played just fine. Came off the bench one game & dropped 25 & still was playmaking like his old self & racking up the assists.

He improved so much from his Freshman season where he was more of a combo guard to his Sophomore season where he proved he can be a top pg prospect.

He creates seperation with ease due to his handles & quick first step. Like I said he is a great passer & he loves the mid range game. He improved his 3 pt shot as well & also takes advantage of his 6 foot 5 height against smaller PGs where he really shows off his passing skills. He may be the best PG in next seasons draft at pushing the tempo. As soon as he gets the ball he wants to run run run & looks to get easy buckets in transition.

Not the best camera but this video really shows how well he is at pushing the ball & also shows off his handles.

Never been a college basketball fan that much, but I think it's time I started watching the top 10-30 prospects' college teams now.

There was a season in the NBA where I league passed and watched so many, many games, it was the most confident I've ever felt in making a point about some players and what many teams' general needs were. This is where I thought of Pietrus joining the Magic a while before it happened. Pietrus was inconsistent but a great defender and shooter for us, and especially in that finals playoff run.

Also, every team's own local media (besides watching them in LP) is a huge help in learning other teams' players, needs and trade leanings, but just got to remember that, although local media is sometimes more accurate on the needs of their team or more plugged into local sources, it's still media. I might do league pass again now too, but not as much as wanting to watch college ball and seeing/comparing what I think and what the Magic actually select so I can think more like how the Magic rate prospects.

I would love to see what happens there with what the Magic actually pick, because we always get pumped on certain prospects. I won't back away from saying I was looking for a legit scoring SF the past couple drafts or so. I liked Darington Hobson a lot a couple drafts ago, but he took an early injury and was in a small school. Quincy Miller is the SF I liked this year, and I felt he had a way more competitive school, more upside and overall skills than many other SF prospects, including Hobson. I'm interested in seeing where he goes as an NBA guy, but he has a 2nd rounder contract and some of that is from his pre-draft injury still too. It would kill me to see him explode and he was probably to be had for in a Dwight deal. Maybe it's all moot though. Hennigan/Magic wanted Moe Harkless for SF it seems, so that's all the more intriguing where Moe develops. He is more raw than many SF prospects I read, but definitely the most athletic of the three SF's by far. He now tops my most interesting Magic prospects to watch, followed by Nicholson, Vucevic, Liggins (Magic FA), and Ish.

Great analysis.

The thing that sucks about this is there's ONLY been a handful of us (including myself) who saw it from this perspective right off the "get-go", yet we get ZERO notoriety for our analysis. It's kind of like an "I told you so" and now it's being heavily reported by columnists, league exec's, the media, and fans are starting to believe and understand the PLAN, rather than be as short sighted, reacting w/ "we lost so bad in the Dwight deal, Hennigan got duped" kind of crap.

How about a sticky thread for the prospects for this upcoming draft? call it prospect watch.....we could track all the top prospects in college and or overseas and rate them maybe.....kind of like our own big board of prospects...we could do it alongside the upcoming Nba season because this time college scouting might be just as important......what do you think?

As for Trey Burke from Michigan he is actually my number 1 point guard in this draft & that is coming from an OSU fan as well haha.

This kid can flat out ball at the PG position. He will be a lock for a lottery pick.

He reminds me of CP3 so much its ridiculous. He honestly has every tool you could possibly want from your PG. & as a Freshman at Michigan he did not shy away from taking big shots, he wants the ball in his hands in big time situations & he has amazing court vision.

Ask again in March, and I'll be sure to provide a more educated opinion.

Until then, Shabazz or bust.

Anyways, my boy Armin is the director. He has done many music videos and movie shorts. They should rap up filming sometime in the next 60 days as they are taking a break while waiting funds to finish up. First movie with official actors. All Orlando also representing Longwood.

I'm an aspiring filmmaker in the local community (won a couple of awards in the 48 Hour Film Contest, working on two web series, quite a few short films, etc, etc) and I love seeing other guys get their shot. But why in the ever-loving Moses do all Orlando-based film writers and directors decide on horror movies?

I understand that it's more cost efficient, but if we put our heads together and really spit-ball some good ideas, we could all come up with something that better represents our indie market. Or at least I'd like to think so...

Color and cinematography, this film looks decent, but story premise looks bland, and the sound is off in a few places (I'm assuming it's still being worked on, so no biggie there).

Yes, I know, everyone's a critic. But like I said, good for him on securing funding and following his dream. I hope nothing but the best for him.

As Sham said in their thread, this is basically going to happen. Their ownership is notoriously responsible, financially, and given that they aren't likely to contend this year with Rose missing most of the season, they will be looking at ways to move one or more of their less desirable deals. Don't be surprised if some sort of deal goes down where we use our TPE to take Rip Hamilton and some sort of first rounder off them in exchange for some sort of uber-protected future second.
