Two Years
Ok so Kahn seems to like these two year deals to Kirelenko, Roy and Stiemsma. What is the plan after those two years? Does he expect to sign someone from one of the previous draft classes? Would that be the 2010 class? The only guys I could see going after from that class would be Evan Turner or Paul George. Any thoughts on this? WOuld we even have cap room after signing Rubio and Pek to extensions?

Depending on their health and productivity, he might want to resign Roy, Steamer and AK-47. The great thing about the 2 year deal is that it gives him flexibility. The agents love it because, especially for Roy and Steamer, they might be worth more at that time.

Re: Two Years
A lot will depend on how successful the team has been. That's right about the time Kevin and Ricky will be up for extensions.

Tons of flexibility with 2 year deals. Not only is it a great trial contract, you only really have to trial a player for a year, in the second year they become a valuable trade asset if they don't pan out due to their expiring contract. Even if the Wolves are successful and Kirilenko and/or Roy don't pan out, they don't have to worry about being able to move them.
