This has just been a very sloppy and out of sync team right now. Almost seems like the organization is still hungover from losing that Giants game.

I think it has more to do with injuries. We can't even practice properly.

I'm concerned about how we play zone in the middle of the field. There is absolutely no communication between when the OLB backpedals into his zone and whoever is supposed to cover the WR when he breaks in his post pattern. We are going to have some issues when Perry drops into coverage, oy.

Also concerned with the 4-5 yard runs so far against the D. Clay and Perry have been holding the edge decently but Hawk is just not getting up into the hole when the DL is doubled. God he needs to get off this team. I would be happy with McMillan or Richardson playing along side Smiff, instead of Hawk. Start Francois and be done with it.

From what I could tell, Wilson was really getting pushed back a lot last night. On one of Cleveland's first running plays he got pushed 6+ yards downfield by the RT.

It might be a general change in approach this year. Several years back we were the preseason Super Bowl champs. The following year, we had a modest start to the season and several injuries slowed things down...then we picked it up in about week 14 and won the Owl. Last year we were talking about going undefeated basically from day 1. Maybe they're back to trying to ease the season along, I don't know.

Yea, so long as the injuries stop, i'm not worried about a slow start to the season. Once the real games begin and the starters are playing every down instead of a handful of snaps, i expect the offense to put up plenty of points. What remains to be seen to me is how the defense will perform and i have really no idea what to expect from that unit.

Speaking of the start of the season, does Neal need to be carried on the active roster for the four games he's suspended?

I think we get roster exemptions for Neal and Hargrove.

Yup they don't count on the 53 until after the suspensions. But unless they sustain an injury to the dline in the first 4 weeks Neal is gonna have a hard time making the team in week 5.

Hell of a game to be at.

^sarcasm

Harrell really is depressing to watch.

The new scoreboards look nice though.
