Prediction for next season

Post#1 » by benikaye » Fri Aug 17, 2012 10:43 pm

The nuggets will be the third seed, they will upset the thunder in round two, but lose to the lakers in 6-7 I the wcf. I'm not even a nuggets fan, but this team is crazy deep and talented. I think they are definitely

More realistically I would say between the 3rd and the 6th spot.
First or second round exit depending on the match-up and on the chemistry (Iggy) and development of our players (McGee).

If majority of our core remains healthy, then I think 58 wins, Top 4 and WCF battle with the Lakers.

Celtics fan but definitely a big fan of this Denver team.

1.Thunder/Lakers
2. Lakers/Thunder
3.Nuggets/Spurs
4.Spurs/Nuggets
5. Clippers
6. Mavericks
7. Grizzlies
8. Warriors? Timberwolves? IDK

But yeah I see a definite top 3-4 seed. Do I think you guys can beat LAL? No but I pray you do. & I do think that you can beat OKC. Durant will get locked up & they're bigs aren't dominate. Plus we've all seen that Westbrook can't lead that team.

I hope you guys get to the WCF. Think it's a legit possibility & wish you guys the best of luck.

to get to the WCF we would need help in terms of staying healthy, gallo getting his J back, and some post scoring. right now i dont have confidence in faried, randolph, moz, KK and mcgee scoring in the paint and you need that come playoff time.

right now i think we should be looking at hopefully 5th or 6th but if a few things go our way (which they havent recently) we could get homecourt in round 1.

I think 4th seed is about right. Just behind OKC, LAL, and SAS.

Most of you guys must be high

LAL, OKC, SAS will be top 3.

We have to finish 4 or 5 to get out of the first round. Anything less is not a progressive step for this team hence not worth discussing. We've beaten 50 win, 6-7th seed, first-round loss seasons to a dead horse over the past 7-8 years.

55 wins with a wing who plays real D in AI9 should be easy enough. The problem is getting past LAC/MEM/MIN in the first round.

Seriously considering betting some money on the Nuggets......over/under has you guys at 50 and I think with the emergence of Faried along with the AI trade it's realistic to have the Nuggets in the 50-55 win range. Only injuries are a little concerning to me and I think that Nene>>>>>>>>>>McGee so I'm not sure how that is gonna effect you.

the Nuggets were on a 49 win pace last year, with all the injuries, and while Nene was better then McGee last year he was also injured half the season and probably will be until the last couple years of his contract. This year with the upgrade from afflalo to Igoudala and some improvement from all the young guys, I think 55 wins is a reasonable number to hope for, although I expect somewhere from 52-55 wins.

Yep pretty much. Considering that Gallo got hurt, Wilson barely played , Nene missed games as usual as well as a few others you guys still had a strong season. Add the drastic improvement that Iggy brings, McGee playing most games and that should throw you over 50 wins already. I personally think Iggy is one of the most underrated players in the league---Sixer fans are gonna miss him more than they realize right now.

Lawson
Iggy
Gallo
Faried
Koufos?

With Miller/Chandler/Mozgov/McGee/Brewer off the bench....that bench is ridiculous...top 3 benches in the league, probably even the best bench

1) Thunder
2) Spurs/Lakers
3)Nuggets
4)Lakers/Spurs/Clippers

I tried to be realistic, I have no idea how the west Is going to play out. curious to see how Lakers gel during the season, Also to see If Nash and Kobe skills can coexist In the regular season.

Also not trying to be homer, but I feel Nuggets can surprise a lot of people this season. Iggy to the Nuggets Is intriguing and should improve the Nuggets by a lot.

hey wolves fan here. just wanna say its great how a franchise like denvrer can build a good team without even needing high draft picksor big name free agents coming over. u guys def quietly had one fo the best drafts last year getting quicy miller and fournier. u guys will def make some noise and will def be in there for 3rd seed.

u guys are gonna def be better than the knicks imo xD

Return to Denver Nuggets
