With the SF position locked up, and Burks appearing to have more potential at the SG spot due to his better speed and ability to get to the rim, fans wonder if the Jazz will sign Hayward to a new contract or deal him before his contract is up.

I like it!! I've wondered what the love relationship is that fans have with Hayward. He is very average with only a lot of potential that Jazz fans seem to put a lot of stock into. True he is improving into that potential slowly but it could also be blamed on Hayward why the Jazz got beat in the playoffs. And I couldn't agree more that Burks is looking better and better too.
Similar with Kantor though I admit I think Hayward is currently playing better than Kantor is.
(I still like him, and ultimately think he is a keeper)

Those are the types of players that produce elite offenses. He made a massive leap from year 1 to year 2....and to top it off, he's an incredibly intelligent player and looks capable of being an excellent defender. He might never average over 20 ppg, but these are the types of support players that championship caliber teams always seem to have. If he ever develops enough of a repertoire to where he be the primary perimeter creator for a team, we'll be talking All Star caliber player. But right now he's a solid starter on nearly any team in the NBA.....and he still has a lot of room for growth.
